If you are reading this, then you have expressed interest in partaking in a rather large project. The end goal for this is to produce a dramatic audio adaption of the one of the most well known stories in the MLP FIM Fandom: Fallout Equestria Project Horizons, written by Somber, based off the popular story Fallout Equestria, written by Khat.
The reason I want to do a dramatic reading of this story is first off there aren’t that many readings of it to begin with, and also due to the fact the one reading I have heard of it sounds like it was being read by a computer.
I want to hear what these characters sound like, I want to hear the emotion in their voice!
Now, this page right here will cover the main cast plus several minor characters. Due to the large cast of characters this story has, if you don’t get the part you are auditioning for, odds are you might get another.
I cannot stress enough this is not the most kid friendly story in the entire fandom. In fact it can get downright dark and depressing at time.

Hey pony folks! Just wanted to give a brief update on Project Horizons, and of course to wish all of you a happy holidays.
I have the entire main cast casted, with the exception of one. Now even though I said Blackjack was the narrator, I decided to opening castings for a new narrator to take some of the stress off the actress portraying Blackjack.
I'll be putting the cast up any moment, so if you are interested please go for it!

You can call me Watcher. As for what, this is just a spritebot. You’ll find them
wandering all over the Wasteland. I just took some in this area over when I noticed
you two helping each other.”
“No, but you’ve got the right idea. Believe it or not, you’re
better off than some ponies I’ve met.”
“You’ve got one gun. Get more and all the ammunition you can put your hooves on. One of you has decent enough armor, but keep your eyes out for more and better.
Now all you need is some direction. Might I suggest west? You might find something useful that way."

The protagonist and narrator, Blackjack was a security mare in Stable 99 until she left the stable with the program EC-1101, which a party of raiders assaulted her Stable in search of. She often uses shotguns and her baton, but she is skilled with a variety of firearms. Blackjack is a white unicorn with red eyes, a red and black mane, and her cutie mark is a queen and ace of spades. She travels Hoofington attempting to crack the mysteries of EC-1101 and other Great-War-era secrets.
NOTE: If you are auditioning for Blackjack, please be prepared for the most work out of everyone.
“War. War never changes. It had consumed our home, a war fought by foreign aggressors until great and terrible magics had been unleashed to burn all the world to ash and dust.”
Oh. . . I tried to think up some creative profanity but. . . eh. . . I got nothing. “Oh. . . well. . . ah. . . ” What was I supposed to do? If this was Duct Tape’s kid, then she was supposed to be here. Should I say something about her? Give her a hug? Tell her she’s doing a good job? Tell her not to be a cryfilly?
“Unless you give me a reason right now, I don’t care!” (Shouting)

One of the limited male "breeding" population that live in the Medical section of Stable 99. After leaving Stable 99 with Blackjack, P-21 refuses to use firearms and instead sneaks around battles using all sorts of explosive weaponry, such as grenades and mines. His life in Stable 99 has left him in poor condition, and this affects him in many ways. P-21 is a blue earth pony with blue eyes and an even bluer mane. His cutie mark was replaced by the Mars symbol for males with 21 dots underneath it, in two rows of ten and then one dot under that.
“I don’t want to talk about it, I don’t want to think about it. I don’t want to remember it. Just... I can’t. I don’t know what I’d do with a gun right now, Blackjack. Please... don’t make me use one...”
“You’ll be the first to know. Probably because you’re the only pony in the Wasteland who has a clue what 99 was like, but still. . . first to know.” (Trying To Joke Here)
“Blackjack, She was alone, starving, dehydrated. . . and to be honest I probably would have done the same.” (Trying to make Blackjack see sense)

Priest runs the church in Chapel. A bridge to the Core is in Chapel, guarded by laser turrets. Often, ponies will cross this bridge as a form of suicide. Priest calls these ponies pilgrims, first attempting to dissuade each of them, and then sending them off if he cannot.
“All right. First question: you are in Chapel. But of course you already knew that from your PipBuck.”
“When the war was at its peak, memories could no longer be left accessible
to any unicorn that happened across them. Zebras had unicorn sympathizers. The Ministry of Morale, together with the Ministry of Peace, eventually devised methods of extracting and sealing dangerous or sensitive memories away.”
“Please, don’t say that. Memories are more than experiences. They’re lessons. They teach us things that others have gone through.” He cocked his head. “Is there any sense in suffering through the past twice? Have you not learned something from an orb?”

One of the Goddess's alicorns, Lacunae teams up with Blackjack and company after being told to do so by the Goddess. She is adept at using heavy weaponry such as miniguns, and complements this with her magical shields, teleportation, and magic arrows. Lacunae is dark blue and large like the rest of the alicorns, though she will often conceal her identity by hiding her wings under mourner's silk when in wasteland settlements.
“The Goddess isn’t here right now. She could not bear to be here right
now. She is ignoring me and distracting herself with inconsequential thoughts of the
others. (You’re speaking in a scorn like voice)
“I. . . we. . . we live within our memories, and the memories of each other. The
Goddess directs and we act, but within her we flow from dream to dream and thought
to thought. I can no longer remember which are my own and which are the dreams of the Goddess."
“The catch is that, so long as your soul is here, you can never
pass into the everafter. And there is a price paid for rending something eternal.
Souls do not heal, and it would take an exceptional pony to rend their soul thus and not suffer horrifically for it.

When Blackjack and P-21 return to Stable 99, they bring Scotch Tape back outside with them. Scotch is young enough not to have her cutie mark, and the Wasteland wastes no time and every resource in traumatizing her. She is great at repairing and maintaining machinery, and often finds that her jobs in the Wasteland are to repair objects, just like in the Stable. She is a green earth pony with green eyes and a blue mane.
“Are you serious? Do you know how hard it is to remove one of these? If it were held on with nuts and bolts, sure! Let me get my wrench. But short of taking off her leg, these things don’t come off without the proper tools.”
“Do we have to pick a side? I mean, can’t we just tell them all sorry, not interested’?”
“I wanna go back to 99. I don’t care if it’s full of poison and cannibal ponies. Screaming ghosts is where I draw the line.”
(You’re saying this as if you were annoyed)

Morning Glory is an Enclave pegasus, found by Blackjack and P-21 alone in the aftermath of a battle within an Enclave station. As a trained medic, her skills in tending to wounds often proves more helpful to the members of her party than her extensive knowledge of energy weapons and how to repair them. She is later betrayed by a fellow member of the Enclave, and she is determined to set things straight. She is a light-gray pegasus with a purple mane and her cutie mark is a sunrise.
“The Volunteer Corps enlisted with the Enclave to help with restoring contact with the surface,It wasn’t. . . wasn’t supposed to be like this. They warned us. . . But I didn’t believe them.
(Talking in a shaking voice, like you just witnessed something horrifying)
“Well... in a nutshell... the Ministries ran the war effort. There were
six of them, and the the Ministry of Wartime Technology was in charge of Equestria’s private companies, particularly the defense contractors.”
“I was reported missing a week and a half ago. Then I was assumed KiF, killed in the field, when they found the rest of my unit in Weather Monitoring Four, When Bonesaw had my samples and notes couriered to the Volunteer Corps at the Rainbow Dash Skyport, though, they immediately launched a search for me.”
(You’re saying that as if almost embarrased)

The child of Fluttershy, Psychoshy is a yellow pegasus with a pale yellow mane. Her cutie mark is similar to Fluttershy's, but the the three butterflies have razor blades for wings. She battles by flying through the air and swooping down to strike with her power hooves. She was kept in stasis until Sanguine woke her and attempted to use her for his own purposes.
“Hey Security! What’s soaking wet and clueless? You’re face! “Aww... do you want me to kiss it and make it all better? Kiss! Kiss! Kiss! Don’t you just love me?!”
“Aww, don’t want to be inside the tight, narrow, crushing wagon? “Oh, does it feel like it’s getting smaller. . . and smaller. . . and smaller?”
“Looks like we’re going to need another sheriff! You give up? You give up? Huh, Security? Tap out! Tap! Tap!”

An immortal Reaper, Rampage has no dirth of problems. She is often seen taking a few Mint-als, and likes to charge straight into the middle of a battle, using her size, strength, and claw weapons to rip any opponents apart. Rampage tries to figure out exactly who she is, but the clues appear one by one. She is a large off-white earth pony with red zebra stripes, usually wearing spiky armor that only covers a portion of her body; being immortal, she has less need for protection.
NOTE: Rampage suffers from multiple personalities, so be prepared for multiple voices with her.
“And that’s not counting taking a stroll through some nice quiet e-fields, I’ve seen ponies liquefy from a combination of Hydra and a strong enough Enervation field. Kinda cool to watch, actually.”
(Saying this bright and casually)

“But most folks call me Rampage. It’s that certain something that makes me special, “Now, barring your heart exploding in the next fifteen minutes, you’re going to lie there and breathe. If you try and get up, I’ll sit on you.”
