Project Overview
About Brothers In Arms Redux:
Brothers In Arms Redux or BIAR, is a remake of my original brothers in arms mod with more and better-developed content to live up to the standards I built for myself with All Americans and Commonwealth Killer, the mod focuses around a group of brotherhood outcasts still loyal to Elder Lyons from fallout 3, their group is tight-knit and has strong familial ties. Given this project is still in development any lines shown here are WIP and subject to change, same with word counts.
Instructions:
I am requiring everyone to have a half-decent mic, at least as good as a blue yeti, and to join the discord(I will send the link in a private message after I accept the submission) where you will share the files and WIP with me and I will give tips and directions. Please save everything as a WAV file, I would prefer each line to be individual files, with multiple takes so I can choose the best one for the context, but if you would rather just give it to me in one big file I can easily cut it up on my own. Try to have minimal to no background noise, although I can remove it it would be easier just to not have it there.

Once a junior scribe in DC, now the head scholar in the LOS, she’s learned a lot in her years on the road with the rest of the LOS.
Ridley is a younger woman, but extremely bright and talented at what she does.

Lucas is the archivist for the Los, he keeps track of the history and records as well as organizes the archives of prewar knowledge.
"Well, you see now there are chapters of Brotherhood all over the country. It started in California with a man called Roger Maxson right before the war. We haven't heard from them since Elder Lyons told them off back about 20 years or so ago and they severed communications." (Informative, friendly)
"The Legion Of Steel is a splinter group loyal to Lyons' ways of using our superior technology to protect the citizens of the wasteland, although we haven't been able to do that as much as of late as we’re hiding from Maxson and his zealots. We ain’t the only splinter group, but we're probably the most organized." (Informative, friendly)
“Yes I got some old shipping manifestos, there is probably one at the general atomics factory but I’m not one hundred percent that it’s still there.” (Informative)
Doc Preston is an old doctor, he joined the LoS after the brotherhood took military control of his old home, Rivet City. He might be old and grey but he still is one hell of a doctor, he's also incharge of the LoS's medics.
“Yes actually, I have a wounded soldier here, with heavy burns from a run-in from an assaultron, I’ve been unable to treat him, could you give it a shot?”
"Hey there, you need something?" (Greeting, old, addressing player)
"Gah, my bad knee is acting up." (Crotchety)
Scholar Vallincourt is the quartermaster and lead scholar in the research and development wing, once a scribe she joined the LoS during their civil war and split from the greater brotherhood.
“I’m Scholar Vallincourt, weapons research, back in DC I was order of the shield but I suppose now I’m more so the order of the sword.” (Informative, reminiscing)
“Good, I found the technical package in our files for a prewar tesla cannon design we were going to build back in DC to fight off the enclave, never got the parts though.” (Informative, casual)
“Alright it's finished, here you go. It's only a prototype, so please don't lose it.” (Casual, impressed with herself, worried at the end)
Knight Donahue is the leader of a brotherhood squad and a comic book nerd, to win his trust to help Paladin Whitman you'll need to get him a comic he wants.
"Knight Donahue, iron dragon squad, brotherhood of steel."
"I told him before that if he wants our help with this shady operation, is this even authorized? Anyways, if he wants our help he's going to need to do something for me first."
"A comic book, Grognak the Barbarian issue number one, Blood On The Harp. I know Quinlan has a copy and I'm pretty sure you'd be able to find a copy at hubris. If you get me either one I'll gladly join Whitman's strike force."
David is a single father and farmer whose son has gone missing.
"Yeah? Well I don't take lightly to brotherhood thugs coming round, I warned those knights of whatever if they came back they'd meet the bad end of a .50 MG." (Defensive)
Player: No no, our group is in the same boat, we hate how the brotherhood is and want change.
"Sure you do, and I want a million caps. Kid if you really want my help with your little power armor parade you're going to have to do something for me." (Grumpy)
"Get the hell out of my house you disgraceful molerat, I've met raiders with more common decency than you!" (Upset, angry.)
Henry or David Jr is the son of David who was replaced by a synth and then later had his mind wiped by the railroad.
"My name is Henry Lampshade, I know it's strange but Tinker Tom thought it would be a good last name." (Casual)
"Oop, yeah I've probably said too much already, I'm an agent with a very secret organization, follow the freedom trail." (embarrassed, made a mistake, bad spy)
"I'm sorry but I just can't do it, even if this man thinks I'm his son I don't, even if I don't know who I am… this is all too much for me…" (confused upset)
Clark is a gunner engineer that the LOS contact to bring on board to boost their engineering corps and get insider knowledge on the gunners.

"Better than being out in the hot sun trying to scavenge parts from these vehicles? Sure It'd beat this any day, what's the offer?" (Casual)
"I hope they're not too much like the other brotherhood, that steel boot has been encroaching on gunner business way more than any of us like." (Worried)
Although J.C. was dishonorably discharged from the brotherhood for disobedience he still holds order and rules in high regard, often quoting doctrine and dogma that has still stuck with him.
"I go by J.C. any further questions?" (Formal commanding)
"Just because I got kicked out doesn't mean I need to get rid of the order in my life. Besides how did you know that?" (Formal commanding)
"No, I have different plans right now, maybe we'll see each other again but for now tell your protector or paladin or elder or whatever that I'm not interested." (Casual)
