Going through all the auditions
Auditions are closed! I'm going to be taking the next few days to look over all the submissions. Thank you all for taking the time to audition. I will post an update once the final cast has been decided upon. -
Thanks for auditioning!
I've been having a blast listening and taking notes on all the auditions so far. I'm already honing in on a select few submissions that I really like, while still keeping my ears open for newer ones. Thank you all for your time and effort, will keep you updated as the January deadline approaches.
Jack is a casual Rock-Paper-Scissors player attending an RPS convention with his friend, Sarah. Jack cares about what's going on in his opponents heads, which gives him an edge in gaming. He is reluctant to "go pro" since he feels it would ruin the fun, which he values highly. Jack later appears as Falcomaster, who is externally mute most of the time. His conversations will continue in his head though, with Fox and Falco.
You care too much about winning. Just have fun.
Maybe? I mean, I only took one Rock-Paper-Smash game off him. So take that into account.
(whispering) I know, but I can beat him. We can beat him.
Sarah is a dedicated Rock-Paper-Scissors player who drags Jack to a tournament. Sarah likes ordering Jack around, and takes the game far more pragmatically (win no matter what). She later appears as a voice in Jack's mind, as the character Fox (still retaining Sarah's voice/personality, but even more manic and pushy). You will not have to mimic Fox McCloud's voice for this role.
Paper always beats Rock! It’s been that way, since like, the beginning of… time!
(yelling) Hurry up slow-pokes!
(encouraging) Hey, just because you can perfect Smash Bros. doesn’t mean you can perfect Rock-Paper-Smash! Look. Three whole options. Rock, paper, scissors.
Arthur is a respectable professional RPS player who mentors Jack after seeing his potential. Arthur is experienced, wise, and secretive. He cares deeply about the state of the game, a touchy topic for him. He later appears as a voice in Jack's mind, now as the character Falco (still retaining Arthur's voice/personality, but even more motivating and indignant). You will not have to mimic Falco Lombardi's voice for this role.
(humbly) Well, my critics would disagree.
I know, I know. You’re not a fan. But what about...a partner?
It’s not just a trick. It’s the trick. The one and only trick you needed to win this game.
Obnoxious professional Rock-Paper-Scissors player. Blue-mohawk punk-type. Oblivious of his surroundings. Has very few lines.
Switchblade strikes again, hahaa!
What really? Nahh we just got here.
A chill art vendor who is selling posters at a convention. Polite and casual, since his/her only interaction is during a sale. Has very few lines.
Sorry man, I'm already packing up..
I still got these out though.
A friendly random who approaches Jack to play a game of RPS. Has very few lines.
Hey I’ll play with you. Best 3 out of 5?
Good game!
