Everything is Evanescent
Project Overview
Hi, my name is Raghava Kovvali, and this is an idea that's been buried in the back of my mind for a while.
Everything is Evanescent is, essentially, an extended Existential Crisis given form. It asks the question of what it might mean to be erased from existence, and the consequences of materialism vs. letting go of attachments, and also gets very surreal sometimes.
This is a project for which I am expecting a reasonable amount of commitment, at least for the next 8 Months ish while I finish off the first Arc.
Overall, I expect it to average out to a total of 3000 words per part? But it's still being written.
Each actor will be paid 5$ for every 200 words, this is negotiable. You will be paid when you receive the script. After receiving the script, you will have 1 week to record your lines.
Priority is going to be given to POC and LGBTQ+ VAs because they don't get enough support as is.

I did the best I could OK? There were a lot of good auditons, and there was no way I could humanly cast all of them. Still I tried to do my best and ensure that I could support as many people as I could. I know some people asked for feedback, and I tried to keep track of it, but if you would like to know more specifically why you were/weren't cast, you can message me directly.

The Ace is somewhat aristocratic, he speaks with an aristocratic lilt, somewhat posh but with excessively proper diction and whatnot. I imagine his voice as somewhat deep in pitch, when he gets angry, the voice becomes far more growly. He feigns disinterest a lot, acting like a bored noble, but can be swayed to passion.
Well, I must admit it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance.
“AM I SUPPOSED TO BE LIKE YOU?! TO PACK UP MY COMPASSION INTO A LITTLE BOX AND BURN IT ALL AWAY!?
(Said evasively, as though trying to avoid a conversation) “My apologies, I’m afraid I’m dreadfully tired and must retire to my quarters.”

The Liar is someone who lies to everyone, even themselves. They tend to speak somewhat evasively, and have trouble accepting kindness when offered. They're much like a drifted, afloat in the vast ocean.
It’ll be fine. People come to listen to two assholes randomly talking about shit, they’re not gonna be up in arms if we don’t do anything special.
I don't deserve this.
I'm fine.

The Hero is a gender neutral role. They are driven by a fundamental desire to help people, often marred by the fact that they don't often think about the consequences of their actions, instead acting on whatever they think is right rather than what is necessary.
I want to help you.
How was I supposed to know that would happen?
It'll be alright, just trust me.

The Seeker, is first and foremost a scholar. Devoted to the pursuit of knowledge, she approaches the world with an analytical lens. This doesn't mean that she feels no empathy or emotion for people, rather that she suppresses said emotions in favor of making what she considers to be "unbiased decisions"
Think about this rationally.
It might theoretically happen, I just need to account for all possibilities
Interesting, I'll have to take further note of this.

The Champion is without a peer, superior to any who may dare challenge her. She speaks with an aristocratic air, and a sense of smug superiority. She sometimes draws hasty conclusions, or refuses to re-evaluate beliefs she holds.
How could you do this to yourself? How could you allow your form to be perverted like this?
You were always a coward. So easily willing to let every little death weigh in on your conscience.
I... I want to believe that what I'm doing is just... because if not...

The Empress speaks with an almost forced confidence. Still, she is dedicated, and far more competent than most people around her. She has been wronged in the past, and has chosen to take the world into her own hands.
Get out of my way.
I should have known better than to dream.
This... this is good enough for now.
