ERROR143: 143 means "I love you" -- A rivals to lovers chat based Romantic Otome Visual Novel game 2
Project Overview
Hi, I'm Jenny! Writer and Director of Error143! ERROR143 is a Romantic Otome Visual Novel game. The premise is that you hack a hacker so he hacks you back and you fall in love (or don't). I'm not the best at summarizing, so hopefully, my demo video gives you the gist of what I'm writing.
First-person. One romance lead. Multiple routes and endings. Romance visual novel. Rivals to lovers.
Here's a drabble so you can understand his character more:
"What are you thinking about?" you ask. A sly grin creeps onto his face.
"What *am* I thinking about?" he repeats, diverting his gaze from you.
He seems lost in thought for a while before sharply making direct eye contact with you again, "I'm thinking about you, of course."
You scoff, "That's not true."
He rolls his eyes before continuing, "I'm thinking about how your lips curl into a frown every time I compliment you, even though the rest of your face is smiling. I wonder why you like it when I point out your little quirks so much. I hope that I can find more little quirks that you do so that I can make you smile more. And I definitely love finding things that make you get all flustered and frustrated."
You roll your eyes at him, blushing, "You're such a flirt. I hate you."
"I wonder what you "I hate you"'s really mean too. I mean, for some reason I could find myself a little jealous if you said you hated someone else." He brushes his fingertips over your knuckles. It's just a graze, but it feels good and you want more. Before realizing it, you turn your hand over and glide your finger against his palm as he moves his hand back. He lets out a little laugh indicating his victory over this interaction. He continues, "I mean, look at what you're doing. Desperate for my touch aren't you? Even though you hate me?" For an instant, his smile looks a little sadder than it usually is, although you can't really tell why you know this.
"I don't think I could handle you hating anyone else. I hope I'm the only man you'll ever hate, angel."

Animating Micah Yujin for 6 seconds in the opening of the game. You will be working alongside people and I will direct how the transitions will go. Here's the part of the song that I'd like you to animate: Opening.
Say something you think would fit
Micah Yujin is a Black and Korean hacker who's a charismatic charming asshole who's a giant flirt. Someone with a Korean and/or Black background is preferred (it would be nice to have this included in your audition). It would be nice if you could sing since we do have an opening. We also have a little ballad song at the end of the game too. (I also might include a joke rap but you don't have to be good at rapping for this joke to land.)
How I think Micah sounds (I'm open to other interpretations): fruity (he's canonically bi/pan/omni), tone of a valley girl (I wrote his lines and I have a huge Californian accent), a little nasally (? I don't think he'd have the deepest voice.)
Examples: Cat Noir from Miraculous Ladybug, Kaworu Nagisa from Evangelion (Dubbed Version), Arataki Itto from Genshin Impact
Sometimes I think about British or a UK accent sounding Micah but then I wonder how that would translate when I've already written him with a valley girl accent...it'd be something I'm curious about but not a need.
Extra info: I'm going to be live directing this character over Discord. All lines are in the video, so it would be nice if you referenced them!
