Englewood After Dark is a horror/drama audio drama following the adventures of Finn Nightingale and Eve Pemberly.
Finn and Eve started this podcast as a way to uncover the many secrets lurking on the haunted campus of Englewood University and, after facing down an ancient secret society, they are beginning to believe their own hype. Their current case, The Locked Room Murders, pushes them to their limits and forces them to see their world in new ways.
Because Englewood really is haunted, and now, so are they.
We have one large recurring role, a large nonrecurring role, and several small additional roles in this call, so please apply with that in mind. However, in the future we will need more roles filled so watch this space! If you have already auditioned for us, please feel free to audition again. Lines will be recorded asynchronously.

Frisk (35) is an Englewood alumni and owner of a multi-billion dollar tech company. Unbeknownst to the Englewood After Dark crew, he is also an ex-member of the secret society, The Brotherhood of Oak and Ash, that the gang dismantled last year. He is ambitious, selfish, and smarmy.
Frisk is a recurring villain and a multi-season role; he will also appear in season 2 of Englewood After Dark.

By the time I realised the chapel was even on fire, the fire had already eaten its way through the curtains at the back. Electrical fire, they said.
(Silkily) Are you accusing me of something?
Lilo (27) works on campus as a lab technician in the university laboratory. Several years ago, she had a run-in with a ghost and came to the podcast’s resident psychic, October, for help. She’s a listener of the podcast, and has come on to share what she knows and hopefully help them fix their own belligerent ghost problem.
(Recounting meeting and working with her rival) But then I met Sylvia. She was... intense. Her work was immaculate and she watched me like a hawk, you know? Like she was waiting for me to mess up.
(Teasing) Yep. I mean, obviously I didn’t jump straight to ghosts; I’m more of an Eve (resident skeptic) than a Finn (true believer).
(Recounting the seance of her dead academic rival) It was wild. The whole thing... it still doesn’t feel real. But, yeah, she had demands. Sylvia wanted to play one last game. (Of chess, which the two were incredibly competitive over)
We’re looking to cast a few additional voices for this episode, most notably a few EMTs and a slightly sinister Mysterious figure. These roles are very small, most with only one or two lines a piece. Please audition with a different voice for each take.
We are open to auditions from all genders for this role.
EMT2: Wait for the next bus and come with your other friend, okay?
EMT3: Okay, let's get you into this fashionable collar and up into the ambulance, alright?
Mysterious Figure: (Acting as a security guard) I don’t know what leaked, ma’am, I’m sorry, I was just asked to turn people away.
