Encounters of the Capital Wasteland - Vault 101 and Springvale - A Fallout 3 Mod
Project Overview
Hey all, it's Cu na Saoirse! Back at it again with another fun project! Please make sure to read THIS ENTIRE description before auditioning please. That includes Audition Requirements and Voice Requirements!
The project this time is for a fun little series that I plan on doing. This mod title is Encounters of The Capital Wasteland - Vault 101 and Springvale, aimed to bring scripted encounters to the Vault 101 and Springvale areas to make the world of Fallout 3 feel more alive. This will be an ongoing project, with several mods planned in the future to cover other areas of the map in the hopes of having the entire map covered in the future.
VOICE REQUIREMENTS
- Multiple takes are encouraged (2-3) for each audition line but NOT required!
- You must follow the voicing instructions crystal clearly. Any audition with discrepancies on specific instructions w/o any attempts to fix WILL BE disqualified.
- Must not be afraid to get vulgar or loud!
- Sometimes you will be cussing too. If you are uncomfortable with that, then I can say that, unfortunately, this project is not for you. :(
Audition Requirements:
-Crisp, clean audio. No hums*, pops, hisses, or background noise. Any audition with these found inside WILL BE disqualified!
*Hums, if distant enough to be hardly noticeable, can pass auditioning ONLY if the voice actor can remove them when asked.
-Show emotion! Any audition without emotion or effort WILL BE disqualified!
- Communication can be conducted through Discord or CCC.
- MOST roles will have between 1 and 10 lines each. Some MAY have over twenty, however.
-You must be 18+ of age to audition. Anyone under 18 years of age will NOT be considered.
-Have fun!
If you are disqualified, feel free to re-audition! There is no negativity here, only positivity and room for improvement!
If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I can answer most.

Ah, I was like you once. Young and full of vim. Couldn't wait to turn 10 years old. Then it happened, and suddenly everything slowed down.
That is, once I received my Pip-Boy. They gave me my first work assignment the next day, could you believe it? Hah!
Of course, I'm happy where I'm at now. Hey! Maybe you'll be a security officer too?
Officer Ramos is a Vault 101 Security Guard. During the Player's 10th birthday party, she can be seen speaking with Officer Henderson about the latter's disdain for watching over a bunch of "rugrats". She defends the Player, asking Henderson to cut them some slack since it's their birthday.
She is later killed by radroaches during the Player's escape from Vault 101.

You're being a little ridiculous, Henderson.
It's the kid's birthday. Cut them some slack.
Actually, here they come now. Just head back to your post. I'll catch ya later. OK, Henderson?

Get lost, ya runt.
Am I? I just don't like being stuck on babysitting duty. It's like I pissed the Overseer off or something.
I mean, I put in a lot of work around here. And I'm stuck watching over a bunch of rugrats? I mean, come on!
Mike Hernandez is mechanic that lives within the confines of Vault 101. He has to skip the Player's 10th birthday party to fix a pipe that burst in the Overseer's office. He can be seen speaking with Emily Hernandez lamenting that fact before quickly walking off to attend to his job.
He is later killed by radroaches during the Player's escape from Vault 101.

Happy birthday, kiddo!
Nah, I'm not really. Just passing through.
No, it's not that. Stanley invited me. Unfortunately, a pipe burst in the Overseer's office. Trying to fix it. I'm on my way to the supply closet.
Emily Hernandez is a resident of Vault 101. She attends the Player's 10th birthday party, and is seen speaking with Mike Hernandez about missing the party. She laments that fact, but accepts it and later moves to attend the party before it's over.

Heya, honey. You here to celebrate the kid's birthday?
What? Were you not invited?
Sarah Crouse is a mechanic living in the confines of Vault 101. Married to Officer Crouse, she maintains a distinct friendship with Player throughout their life, even going so far as to hint that the teacher, Mr. Brotch, might be willing to help the Player cheat the G.O.A.T. test on their 16th year of life.
She is later killed by radroaches during the Player's escape from Vault 101.

Hey there, you on your way to take the G.O.A.T.?
Heh, yeah. You caught me. I'm just taking a break while Andy takes the reigns.
Listen, don't stress this test too much. It's not as important as the Overseer makes it seem.

Oh my heavens, could this be my salvation? A light in the darkness that I could not have foreseen? A solution to my plight, that I did not expect?
Oh, pardon me. I see you're not as cultured as I am. That confused look on your face betrays it. What I mean to ask is: Are you here to rescue me?
Have you changed your mind? Are you here to free me? Are you the saviour I've so desperately needed?

Nah, he's too much of a pussy to join an outfit like us. The writing's on the wall with him.
