Eden's Last Sunrise - An indie tactical RPG
Project Overview
INTRODUCTION
Eden's Last Sunrise is a retro-flavored tactical RPG presently in development, with an expected release in 2022 on PC, Mac, and Nintendo Switch. The game features a colorful cast of human and non-human characters in a world where fantasy and technology clash on the battlefield.
This casting call is a search for voice actors to provide battle quips, grunts, and cries for much of the main cast. Since this is a commercial release, high-quality recording equipment free from background noise is a must. This is a paid opportunity, paying $50 USD per role. Good luck!
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Hello! On the internet, I pretend to be a lizard from space! I am a solo developer based out of the southeastern United States, where I founded a studio called Sungazer Software. I have been developing indie RPGs for over a decade, starting with the Reconstruction series in 2009. My latest (and first commercial) project, The Tenth Line, was released to PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. You can follow me for irregular updates on Twitter or reach out to me on Discord (either directly or through my server linked in my Twitter profile).
CONTENT AND TECHNICAL DETAILS
Voice work will apply to characters' actions and states in combat. Each character's script is approximately 50 words, plus a collection of grunts and shouts for actions such as attacking or taking damage. Multiple takes of each line will be required for the final delivery, as well as the possibility of re-takes. Deliveries can be made in one audio file per voiced line, with several takes in a row. High quality WAV format is required. Final deliveries can be made via email, Dropbox, or Discord.
DEADLINES & OTHER NOTES
- The deadline for auditions is Sunday, September 19th, 2021 at 11:59pm EDT. I will be casting roles very shortly after this time elapses.
- The deadline for final deliveries is Sunday, October 3rd, 2021. This is a soft deadline - I understand that schedules can be fickle sometimes, so let me know if you need additional time.
- All finished work will belong to Sungazer Software LLC for use in any future platform releases and in official marketing where applicable. In turn, finished work may be used freely by talent for portfolios and self-promotion.
- Please note: I am NOT accepting union auditions for this project.

Latest Updates

Time is up already! We had almost 1200 auditions total - even more than my first game's casting call - and I listened to each and every one. I've pared down a shortlist of almost 200 auditions, and I plan to pore through those over the next couple of days and settle on a final cast list later this week. Thanks to everyone who submitted, wrote a message, or even just followed along for the ride.

One week left!
Happy Monday! Big thanks to everyone who's submitted auditions so far. I've paused new submissions on a couple of the most popular roles for now while I go through the already-way-too-large shortlists that I've created. I hope to cast them both very soon; the rest are fair game through this weekend. -
Greetings from Space!
Hello and thank you for the considerable early response! I will start going through auditions tomorrow morning, so sit tight. I should also note that I saw the project was flagged as accepting union work. I can't figure out how to change this setting, but this is a non-union production, so please be aware of that going forward. I'll check in again soon!
