DUBSTARS- Beastars Manga Dub
Project Overview
What is DUBSTARS?
DUBSTARS is a non-profit fandub project focused on creating a voice acted YouTube series of the original Beastars manga! The purpose of this is to create a cinematic retelling of the whole series chapter by chapter, including fully voiced lines, music and editing. This is currently a passion project of mine that I'd love to see come to fruition with your help!
Requirements:
Most roles in this series require actors to be 18+ (with the exception of minor, background, and child characters). Please do not apply to any roles that are 18+ if you are under the age of 18.
Do not apply to this project if the mention of gore, sexual and mature themes is an issue.
If cast in a main role please keep in mind what that commitment means! This is a long term project hoping to cover all 196 chapters in the series.
Notes:
Discord is required to be a part of this project! Please join the discord upon casting
If casted, you may be asked to record for background characters/extra voices throughout the series
There is absolutely no requirement to sound like the currently casted voice actors in the show, put your own spin on things!
This project is currently solely focused on Chapter 1 of Beastars, as such there are limited characters on the casting page. If you are interested in auditioning for a character not yet on the page, please reach out to my discord: hehetimbit
