Dragon Ball Z: Plan To Eradicate the Saiyans (1993) Fan Dub!
Project Overview
Welcome to the casting call for the fan dub of Dragon Ball Z Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans.
We decided we wanted to make a fan dub of this 1993 animated film (not the 2010 one!) because there is no English dub available and it was never made.
We already have a trailer made that you can watch. The video is included at the top of this page!
We are looking for passionate actors who are great at voice acting and have a good microphone. If your microphone isn't up to par, and sounds bad, I don't think this is the project for you.
This movie will be uploaded on DBLiveOnline (run by SourMercury) and we already have some work that we can show you. This video will show you that in full detail:

In that video you can also take note of what sort of quality we are going for.
As for the lines, it can differ per role, but take into account that you might have 50 or more lines to work with. Which includes dialogue, screams and much more. Are you ready to commit to this? Feel free to audition and most of all: have fun and enjoy!
Quality requirements:
- No noise (make sure to remove it properly if the original recording had any)
- No room reflection / echo (You can use the "De-verberate" plugin for that. Google it ^_^)
- No clipping / peaking (Make sure you set the volume low when screaming, and sit further away from your microphone)
- No fake screaming. If your neighbors can't hear you, you are doing it wrong.
- Good acting. We require experienced actors, so be sure to bring your A Game!

For Goku I would prefer a GREAT Sean Schemmel impression... but if you have a very good sounding voice that is great too! Just try to bring the essence of Goku's character when you audition and maybe you will be chosen!
I say this a lot, but no fake screaming. If you aren't disturbing your neighbors, you're not doing it right.

Scream Kamehameha in a long charging way. After that, I want to hear a power up scream (No false / fake screams, if the neighbors can't hear you... you're doing it wrong.)
Gohan is a teen in this time period, but his voice is still very high pitched. Therefor, I would prefer a female actress to audition for this role. STEPHANIE NADOLNY impressions are more than welcome, but if you have a beautiful voice that would fit Gohan's character -- do not be shy and audition! ^_^

[I need the following:] 1, Powerup Scream. 2, Masenko HA! 3, Kamehameha [Both slow and powerful / charging it up. And I need a fast Kamehameha.] (No false / fake screams, if the neighbors can't hear you... you're doing it wrong.)
Hatchiyack is the main antagonist in this movie. His voice needs to be deep, low pitched and growly.
Feel free to improvise, as there is no English voice actor tied to this character to my knowledge.
Raichi... Saiyans... kill... (soft spoken, low pitched and deep) [The "ai" in Raichi is pronounced as you would literally say the letter "I"]

Fast Melee screams
We all know and love Frieza. Therefor I need a good Chris Ayers or Little Kuriboh (TFS) impression and a great actor! Do you have what it takes? Then don't be shy and audition!
I doubt I need an introduction, but just in case, I am the mighty Frieza and yes, all the horrible stories you’ve heard are true.

King Kai is a great character and this one is going to be really difficult to cast. I'd LOVE a great Sean Schemmel impression, but if you have THAT voice that fits this role perfectly... then go ahead and give it your all!
I'm curious to see what kind of auditions will come for this one!

How dare you, Vegeta! Every time you poke your little, geeky face in front of Trunks, you make him cry! (direction: you are angry at Vegeta and you are teaching him a lesson! Make sure the inflection is there!)

They can blow up the universe for all I care. That's no excuse for putting my little boy's life at risk.

His voice is supposed to be deep, low pitched and gravely. You can take reference from his appearance in Coolers Revenge.
What? My brother killed by a Saiyan!? That's absurd! How could a Saiyan generate enough power to destroy Frieza?
Perhaps you could do me a little favor. (Cooler is holding Piccolo's unconscious body) Tell me, what should I do with this Namekian?

We all know Mr. Popo! Therefor I need a great actor or impressionist. Either from Dragon Ball Z or Team Fourstar, do what you are best at! Do you have what it takes? Then don't be shy and audition!

To be truly strong, you must know yourself and your enemy. Once you know this, all will become clear.

Next time, on Dragon Ball Z!
Last time, on Dragon Ball Z. With no more battles to fight, Goku had settled into a peaceful life with Chi-Chi... and his new son. But peaceful though it may be, life in the countryside is anything but quiet. The woods can be a dangerous place for a young boy alone. Fortunately for Gohan, his father is one the strongest men in the world!

We need an experienced video editor that can work on a big movie like this. Your job will be to help place sound effects, music and the lines of the actors and actrices in the project.
Other duties involve help making the credits and that sort of thing.
We already have one Video Editor on the team, but we'd love another one to help us out!
