Doki Doki Wrestling Club: Episode 2 (A DDLC x WWE Crossover Series)
Project Overview
Doki Doki Wrestling Club is an unofficial crossover video series between Doki Doki Literature Club and the WWE. We completed production on the first episode at the end of December 2018. The script for episode 2 has finally been completed, video production has begun, and now I'm looking for voice artists to fill the needed roles.
My previous works include Danganwrestling (Danganronpa x WWE) and Undertale Wrestling.
Plot Summary
In the world of Doki Doki Wrestling Club, the Literature Club has won an essay contest to win a tour of the WWE training facility. They end up getting recruited by the WWE to compete in the "John Cena Doki Doki Memorial Classic" wrestling tournament to win a contract with the company.
Project Details
The core Literature Club cast carries over from the previous episode, but I'm in need of people to fill the new roles for this new episode. Some roles will extend to future episodes, some may only make one appearance, and new roles will open up for future episodes.
Please keep the following in mind when auditioning:
-
Quality audio recordings are important. I'm no audio engineer, but I'd like to keep the quality consistent throughout the work. A good mic is important, but at the very least, make sure your voice is clear and that there is no background noise. - Since some of the characters are based on real-life people, I'll provide some samples of what some of characters' voices should sound like, but don't worry too much about matching it exactly
- Audition for as many parts as you like!
- I recommend doing multiple takes on each of the audition lines
- I may extend the deadline if necessary.
-
I prefer to communicate through email. So if I cast you, I'll ask for your email address, and I'll provide mine. I did finally figure out how to use Discord through my previous project, so that's an option, too!
Credit:
Those who are cast for the roles will be credited in the video and in the video description, along with any profiles you'd like to promote (Twitter, YouTube, Tumblr, Instagram, etc.)
The roles will be paid this time. As this is still a hobbyist project, I can't really pay a lot, but I do value your time and work, so I think you should be compensated for it. Payment will be based on how involved the role is (basically, more lines, more $$$).
If you've got any questions, hit me with a message! Maybe I'll set up a discord if I can figure out how that works, lol

Thank you for the auditions everyone. I'll be going over them this week and hopefully we'll have the roles cast, soon!
Due to scheduling conflicts, the role of Natsuki has to be recast for Episode 2.
Natsuki is the smallest girl in the Literature Club, but probably the toughest. She likes cute things and mainstream wrestling programming like the WWE. She is also abrasive and argumentative.
Her voice should be small and cute, but also stern when she's angry (which is often).
You can listen to the original voice in Episode 1 to get an idea of what we're looking for: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4YB0GhIIyUQ
(confident and cocky)
Me versus Alexa Bliss? Ha, easy-peasy. That Disney Princess wannabe's about to get PUNISHED.
(gleeful)
"No! It has to be John Cena so that they know we're big fans!"
(frustrated, yelling angrily)
"We live in Japan! You don't gotta tell us about Japan all the time!""
Bayley is a two-time women's champion and currently one half of the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions, along with her partner Sasha Banks.
Bayley is an extremely optimistic and positive individual. She's also a big awkward dork and is low key a pretty normal girl compared to the bombastic personalities of her peers. She often presents as a naive wrestling fangirl, but her confidence and athleticism still makes her a formidable opponent in the ring. Bayley is in stark contrast to her tag team partner, Sasha Banks, who has more of an edge to her. It's a wonder how they're even friends.
Bayley is also obsessed with hugging people and making friends.
For reference, here is a voice sample of the real life Bayley: https://streamable.com/y57vf
"Please, excuse my cranky bossy partner here! Nice to meet you! As you just said, I'm Bayley!"
"Be confident. Believe in yourself and your partner in the ring will do the same. That's what creates great in-ring chemistry."
"I guess all the wrestling can be a little overwhelming from time to time...but it's friends like these that'll help get you through it, right?"
Sasha Banks is "The Boss" of the WWE women's division. She is a former WWE Women's Champion.
Sasha is a natural "bad girl" wrestler, wrestling an extremely aggressive style and has no issue calling people out and proving she's the best in the ring and on the microphone. However, she's recently been relegated to a good guy role with her bubbly partner Bayley. While she's happy to be teaming with her friend, she strives to once again be at the top of the company as the Legit Boss.
Sasha often speaks in a sassy, dominant voice, but she has a friendly side as well.
For reference, here is a voice sample of the real life Sasha: https://streamable.com/9y5aa
(sassy and sternly)
"Oh, you haven't seen scary yet, little girl."
(stern and aggressive tone)
"I'm the legit BOSS! So you better show me some respect!"
(starting off with a threatening tone, then breaking into a friendly tone)
Well, if she's a fan...then I guess we're going to have to be friends!
Chris Jericho is a seasoned veteran in the pro wrestling business. His most notable aspect is his uncanny ability to constantly re-invent himself. He is the best in the world at what he does. He's so good at captivating an audience that he's successfully gotten the singular word "it" over with the crowd. Get on his bad side, and you'll end up on Jericho's infamous list, which will surely lead to great misfortune.
Jericho is often loud and boisterous with a short temper. He's full of himself and views himself as the greatest gift to the world. He's also big on catchphrases, so please check out the sample video to try and match delivery of said catchphrases: https://streamable.com/z4gjw
Chris Jericho will have a reoccurring role in future episodes of Doki Doki Wrestling Club.
Literature Club, huh?
(smugly)
Well, I happen to be quite the writer myself, you know.(loud and angrily)
You know what, Yuri? Yuri of the Literature Club? You know what happens when some Japanese high school girl calls Chris Jericho a clown? YOU JUST MADE THE LIST!(yelling in frustration)
That's not even Austrian, you stupid idiots!
Alexa Bliss is known as the "Goddess of WWE," but her personality is anything but divine. She believes herself to be above others, even if she isn't willing to put in the work to actually achieve that status. She's manipulative and selfish. She's not above using others to get what she wants. She's also a big fan of Disney stuff, oddly enough.
Alexa has a very minor role in Doki Doki Wrestling Club 2 with only a handful of lines.
For reference, here is a voice sample of the real Alexa Bliss: https://streamable.com/ptgu0
(annoyed)
"Hey, kid. Don't make a fool of me out there, or I'll make sure you've got a short career in the WWE."
(disgusted)
"Ugh. Whatever, Ribbon. We'll finish this in the ring, Pigtails."
"Whatever. I'm not worried about you, Pigtails. Do you even lift?"
Fandango is a dancer turned faux-detetctive. He is vain and extremely dense, which does not actually qualify him to be an authority figure on anything. Fandango and his buddy Tyler Breeze make up the Fashion Police, whose job is to presumably critique the stylishness of their peers, but they usually end up taking on cases that are too much for them to handle.
Fandango speaks in a rough, raspy, whispery "Batman-like" voice. He also often mispronounces things.
While they only have a few lines in this episode, Tyler Breeze and Fandango will have reoccurring roles in future Doki Doki Wrestling Club episodes.
For reference, here is a voice sample of the IRL Fandango and his incredible comedic performance: https://streamable.com/3ux4l
(all of Fandango's lines are delivered in a raspy, whispery, "Batman-like" voice)
"Crime...that's our specialty."
(all of Fandango's lines are delivered in a raspy, whispery, "Batman-like" voice)
("led" in this case is pronounced like the type of metal "lead")
"We've got a led. A led that leads us to a certain Iconic Duo."
(all of Fandango's lines are delivered in a raspy, whispery, "Batman-like" voice)
"I think we can handle the case instead, right Breezy?"
Tyler Breeze is a fashion model turned faux-cop. He and his partner Fandango attempt to tackle crimes that are clearly too much for them to handle. Despite not being the leader of the group, Tyler is (barely) the brains of the operation. He's still not that bright, but he tries.
Tyler speaks in a sophisticated, slightly posh accent.
While they only have a few lines in this episode, Tyler Breeze and Fandango will have reoccurring roles in future Doki Doki Wrestling Club episodes.
For reference, here is a voice sample of the IRL Tyler Breeze: https://streamable.com/t0d0f
(confidently)
"Jericho, me and Dango will take the case!"
"Led? Have you been eating paint again?"
"Hasta la vista, baby!"
Wrestling matches need wrestling announcers, so Doki Doki Wrestling Club is no different when it comes to that. I'm accepting both male and female auditions for this role and I'll pick whichever fits best.
The announcer has just a few lines before and after each wrestling match.
The announcer should have a lot of power and enthusiasm in their voice, like an announcer! To give an idea of what I'm looking for, here's a sample of WWE announcer Greg Hamilton introducing two wrestlers at Wrestlemania: https://streamable.com/f5qea
"Ladies and gentlemen, the first match of the John Cena Memorial Doki Doki Classic!"
"The following contest is scheduled for one fall!"
"And her opponent, from Japan, representing the Literature Club...Natsuki, the Parfait Punisher!"
