25...years...later.
The famous fanfiction on the glorious subreddit known as r/Loded Diper, a generally meme-based subreddit dedicated to Jeff Kinney's Diary of a Wimpy Kid book series. For a while now, I've wanted to have a dubbed experience of a DOAWK book. Of course, as most of them are 200ish pages long, I thought it'd be best to make one for the usually far shorter fanfictions made on LodedDiper. They range from funny, to serious, to absolute shit. After giving it some thought, I settled on u/jugdeggrogs' 25 Years Later, a serious masterpiece that puts the cast into the often depressing nature of adult life.
I unironically love this fanfiction, and it just deserves an audiobook. If you're familiar with the series, or better yet, familiar with this fanfiction, please consider auditioning for this beautiful heap of meme culture.

Greg Heffley is a narcissistic teen turned adult living in the fictional Plainsville, Massachusetts. Some would categorize him as a psychopath. His voice is, for lack of a better word, average. I really can't specify past that point. Just do your own thing!
(Responding to the phone, shaky.)
"Hello?"
(Complaining)
"I don't know if I'm jealous or what, but Roderick seems to be the one who knows what he's doing."
(Nervous.)
"I guess I have to come clean. Dad was diagnosed with lung cancer over a year ago."
Rowley Jefferson is Greg's once immature, yet now somewhat broken, ex-best friend. Rowley would have a slightly higher pitched voice than Greg, maybe a little bit goofy. Regardless, he's still relatively serious.
(Depressed, maybe a little heart-broken.)
"I'm not gay, Greg."
(Trying to let out a dose of happiness, but very much fake.)
"Zoo-wee mama!"
(Nowhere near as depressed. Casual.)
"Yeah, I love you too, man."
Frank is Greg's conservative father. I've always imagined a deep, grumbly voice for him.
(Angry.)
"Get the FUCK out of here right now."
Greg's mother. She has a relatively high pitched voice. Pretty much always a little worrisome.
(Worried. At her breaking point.)
"Get to the hospital, now. It's dad...the cancer's gotten worse."
Greg's once-popular ex-classmate. He's generally a washed-up average Joe now. He has a somewhat flamboyant and "attractive" voice.
(Frustrated.)
"Jesus Christ, Greg. You can't do this to people. Get out."
An old acquaintance of Greg's. He's always sounded a lot like Fred (Yes, the guy who got infamous for speeding up his voice) in my head, so you can go for that. You can still go for your own original interpretation, though.
(Explaining. He sounds like he's been through a lot.)
"At the end of the day, family's family."
Manny bad!
"Fuck you."
A journalist, and Greg's old crush. She has a shit ton of lines, and I have no idea what her voice would sound like, so go wild.
(Serious. Reporter-like. A proper narration.)
"Jefferson confirmed today's Zoo-Wee Mama! will be a tribute to his friend."
