Devil Number 4 Comic Dub - EPISODES 11-20 -
Project Overview
Greetings and salutations!
This casting call is for a comic dub of the webtoon Devil Number 4! It's a romantic and modern-day fantasy tale of 20-year-old Hanna Yoon, who is a poor and struggling college student, and how she is approached by No. 4, a Devil that promises to grant her a life fulfilling wish if she signs a contract with him with her soul as payment to him.
There is light levels of cursing in the story and there are themes of death and loss that may be heavy for some, so I would request that those of you auditioning are 15 or older and comfortable with addressing these themes!
I also ask that if you decide to audition, you will be punctual if not early with turning in your lines! If you need any extensions for any reason, then I understand completely and will provide extensions for you specifically. But please do your best to be timely with your lines once cast!
Be kind and nice to everyone else in the project. This is for fun, so please be respectful. I will take you out of the project if you do anything that is considered bullying or just downright mean and disrespectful.

This is the audition for the female form of Mika.
Mika is an Angel that is capable to switch between appearing female or male, and I would ask for the voice actors, once cast to collaborate on a very similar speech pattern and manner of speaking to reflect each other. For this Mika, I am looking for a medium-high voice that is capable of sounding warm and compassionate, but can also pull off sarcastic, dry, and "I'm-done-with-this" tones.
Personality: Mika tends to be extremely pleasant when interacting with humans and other angels. However, several interactions with Number 4 show that they have very little time or patience for devils. They're not very talkative, regardless of the present company. As time goes on, they start questioning why devils and angels have to dislike each other, and forms a close relationship with Number 313.
Mika is unusual for an angel. They are not supposed to feel emotions, show favoritism, prefer a certain gendered form, drink booze, or wear black, but they display all of these characteristics anyways.
[Calm and insightful] Sometimes, there are humans who just ignore common sense. [A "good-grief" sort of tone] That's why Angels like me have such a tiring job.
[Sincere compliment, warm and motherly] Wine-colored clothes suit you well.
[Sincere, somber and serious] My sincere advice... Is to nullify the contract as soon as you can.
This is the audition for the male form of Mika.

[Pleasant and friendly, very customer service-y] Hello. I'm Mika, your guide to Heaven.
[Overly pleasant laugh]
[Serious and straight-forward] Handing over your precious life to Devils is a very sad thing to witness. First, I need to verify some things with you. What exactly were the conditions and rewards of the contract?
Song Ee is a classmate of Hanna's and her friend in later chapters. She would have a medium-high or high sort of voice. Go for a playful and fun-loving tone to her voice.
Personality: Song Ee is a very teasing, friendly, and effeminate young lady that enjoys shopping and spending time with Hanna. She always wanted to be friends with Hanna and now serves as the voice of reason and wisdom to friends, and becomes Hanna's inspiration for wanting to live as a young woman of her age (to shop, wear make-up and pretty clothes, and to just be more social and have fun).
[Happy, friendly, celebratory] Hanna, cheers!
[Friendly conversation] To be frank, I've wanted to get to know you since our first year.
Yeah. But you looked busy and tired all the time. Well, maybe I was just imagining things.
[Firm and stubborn, determined to see Hanna dolled up again] You were really pretty that day! It'd be nice if you'd wear it everyday. But for now, just wear it when you're meeting me.
For No. 33, I'm looking for a medium-low or low voice that can portray a cold-blooded businesswoman that shouldn't be trifled with.
She is known for her uncompromising nature. She is straight to the point, cold, all business and no-nonsense.
[Serious, cold, business] It's been a while, No. 4. Your progress is severely lacking.
[Severely cold and serious] Have you become lazy because of past accomplishments?
[Uncompromising, serious and threatening] You have till next week. If you don't provide a contract matching said investment, all your possessions and authority will be stripped from you.
