Detetective Animation
Project Overview
Short film about detective. Here is the script in incorrect format but that's fine.
FADE IN:
EXT. CITY - NIGHT
Many police stand around in a city street. Detective with cigar walks underneath police tape into an alleyway towards a covered dead body covered in a white sheet.
Detective crouches down by the body and takes out his cigar and talks into his voice recorder thing.
“Now what happened to this poor buggar”. Detective lifts up the sheet.
“Hmm, victim appears to be shot in the head, hole appears to be made from a 5mm round ,exiting the other side for a quick death with reportedly no witnesses.”
Police man standing near the detective goes to interrupt, before being quickly silenced by the detective who points and talks louder over him.
“Time of death is estimated to be at 17:05, which should be peak traffic time, making the chance of a witnesses very high.”
“The time is currently 17:25, it should be the busiest time of the day however the street is empty, why is this”.
Detective stops to think for a second.
“Police on call have stopped the public from entering this street since they first arrived at the crime scene at the reported time of 17:13, making it the ideal conditions for there to be no witnesses. If the officers on call lied about their time of arrival, equipped with there 5mm round pistols, it becomes clear who the true culprit is.”
Detective stands up and points at police office.
“It’s you”.
As he says this police walk past with the true murder walking past.
