Descendants - Animated Series
Project Overview
DESCENDANTS follows our four lead characters: JAYE, IVY, COLIN, and MERLYN and their task to stop the malicious God of the Sun ARUN from resurrecting and enacting his revenge upon those who halted his rule nearly two centuries prior.
Rules and requirements are in the video, however I shall mention them once more down here!
1. You MUST have a decent microphone and little to no background noise! This makes it easier to put the whole thing together!
2. You need to be able to work well in a team! This is a team project, so we need to be able to work as one.
3. MUST be able to meet all deadlines. I understand school is starting up soon, but you will be given the script a month before lines are due. PLEASE get them done if you're given the part!
4. You need to be at least 13+ years of age (16+ for script-writers and audio editors) to be apart of this project. This is due to some sensitive things that may appear throughout the series. This includes cursing, blood, and other things.
At this point this project if NOT PAID. The series will likely run on YouTube for the duration of a "season" (about 7 - 8 episodes). It may continue after that if it is well-received, as I already have a plot of sorts in mind!

LINE ONE: (a statement, not a question) You can see it too. His return.
LINE TWO: (cutting him off; she is just as irritated as he is) I cannot see who shall conceive him, nor can I envision what he shall look like. All my premonition has shown me is the destruction that shall follow his return. We will just have to wait. Our paws are tied.
LINE THREE: (strained; her patience has run out) Oh, please, you’ve spent too much time with those mortals.

DEEPER, BASS-TONED MALE VOICE
LINE ONE: (a growl) Just as he threatened all those centuries ago.
LINE TWO: We have to do something. We cannot just allow history to repeat itself.
LINE THREE: (his voice is no longer a growl, and he too sounds tired) That may be true, but remember sister -- not even we are perfect beings.

LINE ONE: (alarmed) Shit! Jaye!
LINE TWO: (softly; yet somewhat dismissive) Of course I know that Jaye. If it were anything more than a simple nightmare I would. I promise.
LINE THREE: (serious) You feel it too? The... “tug”?
CHEERFUL, KIND-HEARTED, SPIRITED

LIGHTER / MEDIUM TONED FEMALE VOICE
LINE ONE: (cheerfully) Wake up sleepy-head! It’s time to -- (she pauses, seeing that Ivy is already awake and upright; a moment passes as she registers this) Oh. You’re... already awake. Didya sleep well?
LINE TWO: (shaking out her fur) Don’t worry about it. (chuckles half-heartedly) I was looking for an excuse to go on a walk anyway.
LINE THREE: (mildly concerned) You do know you can talk to me if something is bothering you... right?

LIGHTER MALE VOICE
LINE ONE: (screams)
LINE TWO: (warningly, shrill) Wait! I know you feel the tug -- but don’t go in there! He’s pissed off at something! He -- He attacked me for no reason!
LINE THREE: (hastily, somewhat scared) Y -- Yes! That’s why I entered the cave last night! I was so tired... I -- I didn’t think much of it! I didn’t e -- even see him sleeping in there when I entered! But when I woke up this morning...
TEMPERED, IMPULSIVE, LOYAL
MALE
DEEPER MALE VOICE
LINE ONE: (angry, a shout) ARUN!
LINE TWO: (somewhat disgusted) You can’t possibly expect me to believe that, coming from someone like you.
LINE THREE: (dismissive) You shall say nothing. You shall do nothing. You shall just stand there, silently, while I do the talking.
Currently there is NO pay for this project, however if you need examples of your work for your portfolio for college or other things that may come up, I feel that this is a good opportunity.
The background artist is going to help the primary animator and I by drawing the backgrounds necessary. This will make everything easier and help with production speed.
