DepartedTale: Undertale Animation Project
Project Overview
DISCLAIMER: PLEASE PLAY UNDERTALE BEFORE AUDITIONING
This is an Undertale AU project. It will be divided into episodes and will span across 2-3 seasons. Please note that this casting call will be updated frequently. Now, before auditioning, there are some rules you need to follow.
Rules:
- You need to be committed to the project. If there's absolutely no way you can continue with the series, please contact me so I can find a replacement.
- You need to have Discord. If you don't have Discord, download it after you audition. If you do have Discord, comment your username and numbers on your audition.
- You must have a good time working on the project. Just kidding! I'm the creator and I'm always depressed!
Plot: There are many realities similar to our own. In an alternate universe, Frisk never fell. Toriel never saw another human. Sans didn't have to keep Toriel's promise. Papyrus never got to capture a human. Undyne never got together with Alphys. Asgore never perished. Monsters were never given the freedom they deserved. And, most importantly, Chara was never awoken. Sans notices this, and ventures on a quest to find the determined human.

Departed!Sans is a lazybones skeleton and the older brother of Departed!Papyrus. He's the main character on a quest to find out why Frisk didn't fall into the underground.

Departed!Papyrus is a narcissistic human-hunting skeleton and the younger brother of Departed!Sans. He helps his brother find the human so he could hunt them later.
*concerned* "BROTHER? ARE YOU OKAY?"
*worried* "SANS, YOU CAN TELL ME WHAT'S BOTHERING YOU. TRUST ME."

Departed!Toriel is a motherly figure that cares for monsters and humans. She talks to Sans and gives him advice on his journey.
*curious* "Hello, Sans. You are late today, is something wrong?"
*motherly* "I hope you wanted a butterscotch-cinnamon pie!"

Departed!Undyne is a monster that loves battling others and cooking with Papyrus. She tries to take Papyrus away from Sans on his journey.
*angry* "Not so fast, Papyrus! You haven't had your cooking lessons today!"
*persuasively* "Come on! He needs the training!"

Departed!Alphys is a kind monster, but is too afraid to show anyone her true self. She helps Sans find the human by locating around Mt. Ebott using her computer.
*surprised* "O-Oh, hi g-guys! Why a-are you two h-here?"
*terrified* "No...t-the human is g-gone..."

Departed!Mettaton is a famous robot and one of the most praised people in the underground. He tries to take Papyrus away from Sans on their journey.
*excited* Oh, hello, skeletons! How are you both?
*romantically* Papy, darling, why don't you come with me instead~?

Departed!Grillby is a fire monster and the founder of a restaurant in Snowdin named after him. He gives Sans advice on how to find Frisk.
*unenthusiastic* Good evening, Sans.
*curious* What is this human you speak of?

Departed!Asgore is the one responsible for the deaths of six innocent humans. He sits down and talks to Sans about his human nightmares.
*kindly* "Hello, Sans and Papyrus. It's nice to see you."
*furious* "No! Don't touch the human souls!"

Departed!Frisk is a determined child that has caused many resets in the underground. They don't want to awake Departed!Chara's soul, so they reset and don't climb Mt. Ebott.
*puzzled* "Why do you want me to come back?"
*undetermined* "I only cause chaos, I'm not helpful to anyone in the underground..."

Departed!Chara is a determined teen with a desire to kill everything in sight. They hate all monsters, but can't do anything about it since they're still deceased.
*sarcastic* "Wow! That is such a great idea!"
*annoyed* "Nothing you do will work, so STOP fighting."

Departed!Gaster is the old royal scientist that fell into his creation. He destroys Frisk's soul and creates a brand new story arc for season two.
*happily* I would say that my research has created a "new era" of sorts down here in the underground.
*sarcastically* No, I definitely didn't get shattered across space and time or anything, Sans!
