"Proceed" — Deltarune Original Song

Project Overview

*WARNING — This song deals with dark themes, including murder, gaslighting, and intrusive thoughts. Please don't audition if you're not comfortable with that!*

This is an original Deltarune song based on the Snowgrave route, told from Noelle's perspective. As Noelle is led through Cyber City, freezing these strange creatures, she slowly realizes that something's not right. At the climax of the song, there is a brief dialogue segment, where she encounters her friend Berdly...

I will need a female singer/voice actor, as well as a male voice actor. There will be an additional harmony provided by myself. I have experience with audio editing, but any noise reduction/pitch correction/etc. you can do on your own would be appreciated.

I am planning on selling this song, so commercial rights will be required. This project is being paid for out-of-pocket. In the case of insufficient funds, please be aware that payment may be delayed. Please do not begin recording until I am able to pay you!

Noelle is a very soft character, and has difficulty speaking up for herself. In this scenario, her agreeable nature is taken advantage of, as she is forced to kill everyone in the city.

The song is soprano range (F4-D5). The song itself is very melancholy, and should mostly be sung softly. However, parts of the song will be louder and more emotional. Good microphone quality is a must!

Having encountered Berdly, Noelle is horrified at what she is being asked to do. These lines are VERY emotional, and should be suitably convincing.

Berdly is your typical "smart kid" who acts superior to others, much to the annoyance of his peers. However, in this moment, he is genuinely concerned for Noelle's wellbeing. It would be appropriate to give him a bit of an "annoying nerd" voice, but please don't overdo it!

Microphone quality is not as important for this role, as his lines will have a muffling effect on them.

  • (frightened) Noelle, it's me! Don't you recognize me?!

  • (confused, concerned) Wh.. what? Proceed... where?

  • (determined) Th... that's it, Kris! I don't know what you're doing, but if you're hurting my friend Noelle... then I have no choice but to stop you by force!
