Welcome to the public casting call of Creawell!
Creawell has been a project in the works since 2016. After a brief hiatus, Team Komorebi is incredibly excited to finally take the next step with this project and release it to the public! It's expected that Creawell will be a long-running project that will take several months/couple of years to bring to life. The series will be entirely in storyboard format, and is aiming for around 10-15 episodes. Currently, Komorebi is on the search for dedicated and talented voice actors to help bring this little story to life. Brief Description:
Creawell is an original series set in the crime-ridden, fictional city with the same name. After four agents who are affiliated with the Federal Bureau of Investigation stumble upon a secret crime operation going on within the city, how will the downfall of the city be prevented, alongside the struggle of America's corrupt society?

First off, we are so pleased with the amount of people who have shown interest in our project. And we are also grateful for being Quality Approved by the CCC website! Thank you all for the support!
Secondly, we have updated our regulations accordingly. All auditionees will now have to be 18+, due to the content in the web series. As well as provide identification to prove so. This will only be applicable if you are casted. Thank you all once more for the overwhelming support and love for this series. We can't wait to start this project!
Natalie (Komorebi)
Overview:
Philip Watanabe (Lead) is the central focus for Creawell. Incredibly dialogue heavy and requires a variety of emotions that can be expressed well. Philip's voice calls for a soft-spoken, gentle, masculine presenting voice. As well as a Standard English/British accent. Links to voice references will be listed down below.
Character Description:
Philip Watanabe is a 27-year-old, Japanese-British male who is employed as a Special Agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Described by close friends and family as the "Gentle Giant", he is an incredibly kindhearted and passive being; actively seeking the good in every person he comes across, regardless of their background. However, despite his past mistakes due to his gullible-ness (and overall experience working in the crime field), has caused him extreme paranoia. He rarely gets out of his comfort zone, and when he is needed to take certain risks, he can become a nervous-wreck. He constantly plays by the rules and gets incredibly uncomfortable if he, or others, doesn't do so.

Well, er, not a facade *entirely*... Because, it was in fact... very real- Wait, nononono! Don't leave! I promise I am getting somewhere with this!"
(Apologizing, lighthearted) "Hey! I have to apologize for the other night. To be honest, I don't tend to let my stress get the best of me, but, I think last night really did throw me for a loop. (Sigh) I really do want to make it up to you. Maybe with some drinks over at Frankie's?"
(Agressive, intimidating) "Don't you EVER speak to her like that again, do you understand? (Beat) ...I said DO YOU understand? I don't care who you want to report to, I don't care WHAT you do; but if you ever, EVER address her in that manner again, as a matter of fact, if you ever even LOOK at her like that again, I will absolutely pummel your sorry ass on the concrete. (Clears throat, tone change) Very well then, I'm glad we could make things clear between us. Cheers."
Overview:
Eloise Magalimov (Lead) is one of the main characters of Creawell. Voice actors will need to be able to easily show an intense array of emotions, as well as replicating a subtle Russian accent. (Does not have to be too over-the-top). Her voice calls for a feminine presenting, smooth, almost soothing voice that has a bit of a rough exterior to it. She is incredibly blunt at times and can be a little too serious, but not overtly robotic. Voice references will be linked below.
Character Description:
Eloise Magalimov is a 25-year-old female who immigrated from Russia when she was in her early teens. She is a special agent in the Federal Bureau of Investigation. At first glance, Eloise has an extremely hard shell that is tough to break. She is serious about her work in the FBI and doesn't appreciate any sort of nonsense. She can be considered as a realist and a workaholic, due to her intense drive to seek justice, yet, is incredibly intelligent. Her past traumatic home life has caused her to become incredibly determined to prevent the same traumatic experiences happen to other civilians.

(Intimidating) "I find it interesting that you keep on asking me about my life. And, please; don't excuse it for being an agent. You just seem to want to learn so much, yet in return... you keep quiet about your own life, your own stories. Now, let me flip the card back on you. What makes you so eager to be friends with everybody? Are you lonely? Perhaps your desire for a perfect social life reflects your rather egotistical ambitions. You *want* to be liked... do you? (Beat) No, I wouldn't call that rude. Invasive, sure, but then again, you are rather easy to read. Despite what everyone says."
(Reminiscing, content) "Ah, my parents... never really showed up for me in that way. It was more of my brother. The area we lived in growing up... was quite rough. So, after ballet practice, he always made sure he was there to walk us home. Sometimes, when my legs were too tired, he would pick me up and carry me on his back. He wouldn't do it without complaining though. (Laugh) But, I knew he secretly appreciated it as much as I did. You know, it's embarrassing to admit. but; sometimes after a long day at work, I leave the office expecting him to be there to carry me home."
(Angry, upset) "No-nonono, STOP. You LIED. Understand that you LIED TO ME. You cannot fix this... and you never will. (Beat) Sorry? That's all you have to say? Just the word "sorry"? After me deciding to reconvene with you, considering what WE have been through, after all the openness and me willing to become vulnerable with you, when you KNOW that's hard for me to do; All you can say... all you can say is one, measly, empty, shallow word. "
Overview:
Clara Moore (Lead) is one of the main characters in Creawell, which can call for dialogue-heavy material. She has an enthusiastic, yet a comforting voice. A little rasp is a plus. Due to being a native to the fictionalized American city of Creawell, she does require a standard American accent. Voice references will be linked below.
Character Description:
Clara Moore is a 30-year-old woman who is a native to Creawell. She was born into a family that is notable for their work in the justice and crime field and has a notorious, yet polarizing reputation within the community. Wanting to follow in her parents footsteps, Clara joined the Federal Bureau of Investigation as a special agent at the age of 23. She is incredibly enthusiastic, both with her work and social-life, and is an overall, well put together woman. Her physical strength is also admirable, due to her lengthy history of doing countless numbers of sports during her high-school and college career. However, at times she can be a bit overbearing and a little bit of a narcissist. She constantly has the mindset that she needs to lead the charge at any chance she gets.

(Explaining, content) "...It's sort of a long story, really. His parents weren't good people. I think they were drug addicts, but... I'm not sure. He never likes to bring it up. It's been awhile, so my memory is a little foggy, but I remember him seeing him outside some run-down drug store. It was pouring down rain, poor thing was soaked. But, I remember despite that, he was outside, busking on his beat-up guitar. I went over there to talk to him. I don't remember much of the conversation, but, next thing I knew, I took him home with me. He raided my fridge when we got home, I was a little pissed at him, because, y'know... food is expensive. But I think... I think once I saw how happy he was, something changed in me that day."
(Angered hush) "Hey! HEY! You two need to shut the fuck up before we get caught. Don't you remember last time? Yeah, I don't want to deal with another rescue mission again. (Beat) Oh, do NOT give me that attitude. Ortega isn't here, so you listen on my call. Okay? ...Good. Glad we could get that cleared up. Now please, shut your mouths."
(Admitting) "No, no. You're right. I'm sorry. I understand I've been... pushy lately. Believe me, I'm well aware of it. I'm just... worried about the next couple of hours. I don't want you, Eloise, or Philip to get hurt. Ortega either... even if he claims otherwise. (Chuckle, then beat) I know, Kiddo. You're perfectly capable of handling yourself. Hell, sometimes I even think you're smarter than me. (Jokingly) But ONLY by a little, alright? (Laugh)"
Overview:
Zion Sellers (Lead) is a main character for Creawell. The role requires heavy amounts of dialogue and a wide variety of emotional expression, as well as heavy use of expletives. He should have a higher-ranged, delinquent, tenor-like voice. Raspy-ness is a plus! Zion also requires an American accent, however, the demand is pretty lenient. Standard American or New York/East-Coast American will work either way. Voice References will be linked below.
Character Description:
Zion Moore is a 23-year-old, fresh faced, rookie agent who works for the Federal Bureau. Roommates with Clara Moore after experiencing a brief homelessness period in his life due to being disowned by his family. Although his juvenile and somewhat immature energy can be deceiving, he is a quick thinker and has excellent work ethic; (Once he finally gets the energy to do so.) He can lack compassion at points and has an incredibly dark, sarcastic sense of humor, but can make up for it once people see his true sides. After living with Clara for a few years, Zion wanted to follow in her and her family's path and developed a strong desire to seek justice for innocent civilians of Creawell.

And no, believe me, as much as I love beating up bad-guys and intimidating police officers; I think there's a part of me that still wishes I was outside, grinding hard for "starving artist" money... you know, in highschool, I made a CD for this guy on the lacrosse team. It was mainly sappy, love songs recorded on my shitty laptop mic, but hey! SOME of the songs are still kind of good. Even with my prepubescent voice."
(Drunken, jokingly) "HAHAHAHA! Did 'ya... did you see the fuckin' look on his face. SEE? SEE? This motherfucker turned SOOOO red. Aw, dude! You weren't aware how obvious you were being? Eeeeeeeveryone knew. We just didn't wanna bring it up, yaaknow? (Hysterical Laugh) Oh! Oh MAN that is good shit! (Beat) Okayyy, fine FINE. I'm sorry Phil. Overview:
Winter Thompson (Supporting) is a secondary character in Creawell. Voice Actors should be comfortable with large amounts of yelling, shouting, and an overall aggressive and defiant tone. Winter's voice is dark and brooding, muddled with a lack of compassion for others and intimidation. He should have a standard American or New York accent. Voice References will be linked below.
Character Description:
Winter Thompson is a 26-year-old male who works as an agent in the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Winter is an incredibly aggressive, bitter, and sometimes misogynistic man. Riddled with his lingering feelings for his former girlfriend, Eloise Magalimov, his once charismatic attitude has turned rather sour. Aside from his brutal personality, Winter is still an incredible work-ethic and leader. He threw all of his former passions into his work and continues to do so.

Y'know, that's really fuckin' immature of you. I understand you think that you're all high-and-mighty because you claim to people that "you've moved on" and that "you don't need to rely on other people to be happy", but you and I both know that is complete and utter bullshit."
Overview:
Miles Anderson (Supporting) is a secondary character in Creawell. Voice Actors should be excellent with comedic timing, and should easily encompass and warm presence within their tone. His voice is incredibly welcoming, warm, with a hint of sarcasm when appropriate. Accent should be standard American. Voice references will be linked below.
Character Description:
Miles Anderson is a 32-year-old male who's Philip Watanabe's neighbor, landlord, and friend. An incredibly kindhearted and witty man, who is raising his 5-year-old daughter, Kennedy, with his fiancé, Jaqueline. He is a little out of touch with the happenings in the FBI (for obvious reasons) but tries his best to be as supportive as he can. Even if he doesn't get the appeal.

(Chuckle) I swear, that girl runs her schedule like she's the terminator. Just make sure not to make too much noise. I really don't wanna deal with another complaint from Ms Kensington."
Overview:
Marilyn Thompson-Barré (Supporting) is a secondary character in Creawell. Voice Actors will need to be able to replicate a French accent. Her voice is high-pitched and has an incredibly bubbly, rainbows-and-all tone. Lots of expressive inflections and whatnot. As stated before, the French accent is required.
Character Description:
Marilyn Thompson-Barré is a 27-year-old who is a Forensic Examiner for the FBI. Despite her rather gruesome job position; Marilyn is incredibly upbeat and enthusiastic. Seemingly without a bad bone in her body. She is the step-sister of Winter Thompson, who is the exact opposite of her. Even with her incredible knack for an attention of detail with her work. She's not the brightest when it comes to social cues. Constantly in the mindset that everyone is friends with everyone. And still quite can't comprehend the strenuous relationship between her step-brother, Winter and one of her best friends, Eloise. Despite this, Marilyn always tries to find the optimism in any situation.

(Cheerful) "Oh, yes! Ortega did send me the files. (Beat) Hm? No, I haven't heard from her. Not since... last night? I called her after she went out to the bar. I think she was with the other agents. Weren't you there? No? ...Maybe they just assumed you were busy! You never know! Don't get all upset about it. You know I don't like to see you mad."
(Upset) "No... nothing is okay. I don't like how you all are fighting! It makes me... upset. Can't we all get along? (Tone change) Oh! I know! How about we all go to Frankie's and get drunk! That always solves issues! That sounds nice, right? ...Right?"
Overview:
Galen Bianchi (Supporting) is a secondary-antagonistic role in Creawell. Voice actors will need to portray a dull, flat sounding tone. Her voice is incredibly monotone, with little inflection or energy. Angsty-teenager like. An American accent is recommended, but not required.
Character Description:
Galen Bianchi is seemingly in her late-teens. Despite her young age, she has affiliation with one of the biggest crime operations within Creawell. However, she takes her position with as little energy or care as possible. Giving little care about the outcome of who her crimes might affect. Regardless, she has her position for a reason, possibly due to personal links within the operation.

I didn't know one of those dumbasses would bring some... explosive-device-thingy into the car. Maybe the dumbass wanted to blow up the bank? (Beat) I don't fucking know! Overview:
Esha Patel (Supporting) is a secondary-antagonistic role in Creawell. Voice actors will need to easily replicate a snarky sense-of-humor and a whiny tone. Her voice is very feminine, high-pitched, and harsh. An American accent is suggested but not required. Voice references are linked below.
Character Description:
Esha Patel is a 21-year-old woman who is affiliated with the crime operation within Creawell. She's an incredibly jealous, sassy, spoiled woman. Despite all the things given to her, it's never enough for Esha. She definitely has a "valley-girl" vibe to her.

(Argumentative) "Seriously?! You let HIM do the operation? That man is, like, what? 76-years-old? He'd be shot during a police standoff because the motherfucker would fall asleep during it! I am MUCH more qualified in all aspects, and you know that."
Overview:
Baren Norman (Supporting) is a secondary-antagonist character. Voice actors must be comfortable with extremely suggestive dialogue. Other details include requiring an androgynous sounding voice, as well as an American accent. Tone should sound smooth, yet have some venom in it. Voice References will be linked below.
Character Description & Background:
Baren Norman is in their early-to-mid 20s. Much about their backstory is unknown, both to law enforcement and to their affiliates. All that is known is that they formerly worked as a prostitute, under another alias, before being picked up by a gang affiliated with Creawell's crime operation. Since then, they have become a favorable person to the operation's leader, reasonings unbeknownst to most. Regardless, Baren is incredibly open about their sexuality, yet can be seen as sly amongst other things.

Overview:
Kurt Madden (Supporting) is a secondary-antagonist in Creawell. Voice actors must present a masculine, middle-aged sounding voice. Lots of rasp and grit, and an overall harsh tone. Any accent is acceptable, however, Standard American, America Southern, or New York is preferred. Voice References will be listed below.
Character Description & Background:
A close friend and accomplice of Creawell's crime lord, Kurt Madden is an infamous criminal within the city. Known for committing successful bank heists, as well as a plentiful list of other crimes. He basks in his success within his career, but takes extreme pride and care into his work. Always making his top priority getting more and more.

Overview:
Leisel Ismail (Minor) is a featured character in Creawell. Any accent is acceptable, yet Standard British is preferred. She requires a feminine-presenting voice, being high-pitched, yet soft spoken and full of warmth. Voice References will be linked below.
Character Description & Background:
Leisel Ismail is a 29-year-old woman who is the girlfriend of Clara Moore. However, she currently resides overseas to work with the Red Cross. Despite the physical distance between her and Clara, Leisel is incredibly kindhearted and wise beyond her years.

(Sympathetic) "Hey! Sorry for not picking up earlier. We had someone go into cardiac arrest and I had to go ahead and deal with that. How is he holding up? ...That's not good. Listen, after my shift I'll call him and see if he wants to talk about it. Don't stress yourself over it too much."
(Explaining, reassuring) "Claire, you're doing it again. Yes, yes you are. I understand you're frustrated, but there's nothing I can do about it except to wait for the next flight. I promise I'll be home eventually. Okay?"
Needing an artist who can expertly draw realistic people, objects, and backgrounds. (Stylized Realism is acceptable as well.) This is a major commitment, so frequent communication is required. Many artistic drawings will feature action shots, and fluid movement.
