| WHAT IS THE LOTUS UNIVERSE?
The Lotus Universe is a fictional universe where all planned Ragdoll Gallery productions, either Machinimas or Animated Series, will take place. Our main series, currently being written in our spare time, called Vesnans (Also previously known as The Eyes), also takes place in this Universe. This universe is still being developed, with each of our projects helping us broaden out the universe and the worlds within it!
| WHAT IS CONTINUANCE?
Synopsis: 14-year-old Paz Lynn wakes up from a supposed nightmare of him and his best friend getting caught in an altercation. Said altercation results in Paz's best friend dying, forcing him to come back to his current reality. Having not met this person before, Paz shakes off the dream as just "another typical nightmare," even though this is the 4th time he has had this dream.
The following day, Paz meets a boy around his age who has similar features to the very man he saw in his dreams, distorting his sense of reality. Trying his hardest not to seem off-put by the reoccurring dreams and seeing the person whom he has seen die countless times, the subtle hints around him begin to eat at him, making him realize that his reoccurring dream was not just a dream... It's a warning for his future. Will 14-year-old Paz begin to prepare for his 19-year-old fate, or will he try to change the supposed future?
| WHERE DOES THIS STORY TAKE PLACE
As stated before, this story will take place in The Lotus Universe on the planet called Hedairis, just like our Vesnans Project does. This project takes place takes place a few years before the Vesnans project, meaning that there will be shared attributes between the two series. Our 2 main characters, Octavio Salas and Paz Lynn live in Surborn, Ldenvan; a sandy, beach-like city off the coast of the mentioned country (Ldenvan). Despite this story having an "angst-like" plot, this story aims to provide a confronting experience in its' early days before things get serious. The beachy, tranquil-like enjoyment of the City of Surborn helps us with this goal. (For Machinima Purposes, the majority of this story will take place in Tartosa).
| THINGS TO TAKE NOTE OF
- Due to this story taking place on the same planet as the Vesnans Series, there will be intentional overlapping elements, with the core thing being the characters' eye color. For reference, feel free to watch Episode 1 when this project (Vesnans / The Eyes) was being worked on as a Machinima. It may help you understand some elements of the world. Additionally, there are documents of the world that you all may read and review to help give you more insight into the world of Hedairis. These documents will only be shown to those who are working on the Continuance Project for disclosure purposes!

- Even though this story takes place within the Vesnans Timeline, it is not meant to be a Vesnans Side Story or anything along the lines of that. The Vesnans series features the usage of Elemental Abilities (which can be viewed as magical powers). Even though some of the characters in Continuance may be a Vesna, they will not exhibit these abilities as they are not needed for the story and will essentially ruin many aspects of this one.

"Oh my Eon" - The Planet Hedairis does not have a set religion as there are pronounced God-Like beings called "The Elemental Eons", or just The Eons. The term "Oh my God" is still substitutable.
Ldenvan (LE-DEN-VAAN): The Nation / Country this story takes place in. Inspiration: European Culture
Vesnans / Vesna: A fictional race exclusive to the Hedairis planet. These users have unnatural eye colors expressing their personality traits and potential elemental abilities.

- This project will feature the following languages: English and Spanish. If the role you are auditioning for contains a language you are unable to speak comfortably with, then please audition for another one. If you believe that it will not be a problem, then please continue with the audition.
- Have fun! This is the most important as you will have to bring your character to life throughout the series. Feel free to tweak some lines if it's more natural for you. This is not meant to be a labor-intensive project. Our goal is to produce a meaningful and interesting story that would help us build up our Universe. | When reading the script, feel free to make a copy and edit lines if you feel as if it would help you express the character!
- All characters will have a character sheet where you can read up on their background, likes, dislikes, personality, etc! Additionally, if you feel as if there is any missing information about a character, feel free to send Xono a message over on Discord!
- When auditioning or sending in lines in general, please record the line 2-3 times for variety.
- You must have a suitable microphone quality. Additionally, please do not add any type of FX onto your voice lines, as that will be done during the editing process.
- Our main characters (Paz Lynn and Octavio Salas) will be growing up throughout this series. 14 years old to 16 years old, 17 to 19. (Subject to change). If auditioning for these characters or any character with age jumps similar to this, you must be able to change your voice to better match the characters' current age. If you cannot, then we can find an actor for said age.
- This project has heavy hints of LGBTQ+ topics as well as other topics like trauma, bullying, death, etc. If you are homophobic or unable to handle sensitive topics, then please do not audition! Additionally, if you do not think that you could participate in a long-term series, then please do not audition.
