Project Overview
Avery Nightwood is miserable. She's a college dropout at eighteen, lost most of her friends, and trying to balance an aggregation of part-time jobs. When she finds out her best and only friend, Mel Choi, went missing, she's ready to restart her life. The first step she takes to do this is go to her parents' house for advice. However, when she's home, she realizes her parents are missing too. However, right before Avery loses all hope, she finds a note left from her mom that tells her to go to the basement and open a red box. But once she opens it, finds out that it leads to a portal to a magical world!

There, she discovers a world she never knew. She even meets a few friends, like a sassy girl named Summer, a courageous prince named Chris, a shy girl named Luna, and more! But there's something she doesn't know about. There's something off about this magical utopia....

Nightwood and the Kingdom of Lies is a Gacha story I've been thinking about for a while. As an aspiring storyteller and content creator (as a hobby) I am delighted to bring this project to life! However, here are some things you need to know:
-You are much more likely to be casted if you have good audio quality. A headset will most likely do the trick, but if you have anything better, great!
-A Discord server will be made for the cast. If you get casted, you are expected not to leave without pinging me in the server why or direct messaging me why.
-Any ages are allowed.
-This series will deal a bit with mental health and will be serious at times.

Angry, mocking slightly - I knew it. You're just a selfish, ignorant douchebag who doesn't care about AAANYone but herself. You left all these people who cared for you, and why? Because they were boring?

(Getting sucked into a portal) Huh-- WoAHH! (Sits up, having transferred into a different dimension)
Weak - Huh? What.. Is.. This place?..
Summer Verlice is an arrogant, snarky girl not afraid to ridicule or tease someone. She’s known for being into “exotic” fashion, but it’s really just something a preppy girl would wear in the normal world.
Voice pitch: Around the medium range. Arrogant and preppy.
Age: 17/18
Ugh, who are you? Perks up in excitement - Wait, are you just like me? Are you also into weird fashion?! Oh my gosh. It ANNOYS me soooo much when all the normies talk about how I dress weird.
Mad - And how would you know that?! You don't know anything about me. You're so petty and pessimistic that it makes me want to puke.

Calming down, dejected - Fine... Go ahead.
Chris is a young teenage prince who wants to be a hero; go on adventures, take risks, and save the innocent.
Voice pitch: Medium-high. Can sound young or more on the teenage adult side. Preferably with an American, Canadian, or English accent.
Age: 13
Dramatic, "charming" - You look lost. Well, NO WORRIES! I'm Chris Ahearn, and I'd be honored to help you.
They all think I'm weird. They all want my sister to rule the kingdom instead. But that's okay to me. Because if that means I get to do what I want, get all messy and save people, I'll take it.
Luna Heartstray is a kind, shy teenager who is good with kids and socially awkward.
Voice pitch: Any. I think she'd sound nice with an Australian accent, but it is definitely not needed!
Age: 14
Kind, shy - Hi, I'm Luna Heartstray. Don't mind my sister. She's still pretty small.
W-What?! Th-This... This doesn't make any sense!..
Jazz Heartstray is an energetic young girl who is very different with her sister, Luna. However, she still cares deeply for her.
Voice pitch: Somewhere near the high range. Rough in the way that some children sound.
Age: 8
Fast, exciting - Hey Luna! Are those your friends? I mean the girl with the weird clothes, the other girl with the weird clothes, and the boy with the weird clothes?
Mel Choi is a kind and slightly sassy girl. She's very caring and is always there for those she considers friends. Also, she's kind of in-between the minor and supporting roles.

Age: 18/19

Jade is the strong woman many girls in her kingdom look up to, sweet on the inside and outside. When talking to others, she's pretty free and easy like a cool parent figure.
Voice pitch: Medium-low. Slightly mature
Age: 19/20
Hey, my little bro Chris told me about you. Is it Avery?
I-I'll do anything to protect them from you.. (Struggling to fend off an enemy) Guh- AH! (Improvise grunts and etc)
King Ahearn is a wholesome friend and strong king.
Voice range: Around the low range. Always caring and strong.
Age: 51
Oh, who is this? A newcomer? Come and take a seat by the dining table!
Chris. You can't keep on dressing like a peasant and pretending to be someone you're not. You're a prince. (Sighs) Or else, you won't be chosen as king.
Queen Ahearn is an elegant woman who always manages to brighten people's moods.
Voice range: Around medium. Mature and soft.
Age: 48
Oh hello dear. How's your day been? And who are these people you've brought with you?
Your father is right. You need to set a good example for your kingdom. Don't want us to pick your sister as the heir to the throne, do you?
