[ Sonic the Hedgehog Comic Fandub] Silvisper's Romantic Christmas

Project Overview

❆PROJECT DESCRIPTION❆

I have planned recently to dub at least two comics for the upcoming month on December for Christmas, the artist gave me permission to not only dub the comics but also translate them in English since they are in Spanish, I've got that covered. These comics focus on the romance and relationship between Silver the Hedgehog and Whisper the Wolf (making them the protagonists) and a few other Sonic characters who are supporting them or just enjoying their time together in the holiday. You'll notice that some roles aren't there like Silver and Whisper since they're already taken, so only a few supporting roles will be available. Also, I must also let you know that I intend to have these auditions to on a Discord Server, so not only you'll be competing with people here in CCC, but other people in a Discord server I'm in that are willingly to audition too. The deadline for this will be on November 12th, 2022 (two weeks) I don't intend to extend it further and if I don't find the right actors or actresses that I'm looking specifically for these characters then I'll have to scout them and hope for the best! So please understand that if you didn't get the role it's because I found someone, so don't take it personally and see it as an opportunity. 

❆ Outlining the story

✰ FIRST COMIC

Silver is spending time with his friends during the holiday and receives a mistletoe as a gift from a special someone who awaits him at the park at 12:40, to tell him how she feels for him. 

✰ SECOND COMIC

A sequel from the first comic, Whisper sends a letter to Silver for this Christmas, he contemplates that he is glad that his relationship with her has been getting better and is willing to go along with her proposal to send her a gift too.

❆ REQUIREMENTS❆  

- Have a good or superb mic quality with little or no background noise, this includes also white noise, voice peaks, pops, mic movement, static, or anything technical that can be heard in your recordings. Be sure to check them.

- Please have the time and commitment to send the lines as soon as possible since December isn't far away from us. 

- Must have Discord, communication will be on Discord so that I can give you the lines and direct you on how I want each line said for your role/character. Email is optional, but I would prefer Discord. 

- I will send you a friend request on Discord if given the role, so be sure to leave your Discord on the audition.

- You can do up to three takes per line, that's the maximum limit. And please use different emotes and ways to say the lines so all your takes won't sound exactly the same. 

-  I'm not exactly looking for the exact voices for some characters like Shadow, Rouge, Blaze or Amy but it is important to be close to their personalities and characters. But more importantly, acting is key. So I would appreciate it if you would focus on the acting and the right voice for the character you're auditioning. Characters like Tangle and Jewel don't have official voice actresses, so you're gonna have to come up on how they would sound with their look and personality. 

- Only 13+ can audition since the communication will be on Discord, TOS requires you to be at least thirteen.

- Even if the characters are teenagers, that doesn't limit any age to audition for these roles. If you're a young adult, or in your 20's or 30's it doesn't matter, you can still audition.

  • Final Update on the Casting

    Bonjour, everyone! It wasn't easy casting since there were so many good choices, I do wanna let you know beforehand that it's past my bedtime so when I wake up I'll send friend requests to those who got the roles. Also I wanna take the time to choose on who will be ''Jewel the Beetle'' for when I'm awake. I've been reviewing almost everyone's audition all night and I'm too tired to continue on the last role right now. So please if you've auditioned for Jewel, sit tight and I'll soon cast her too.   • Making decisions on the roles

    Hey everyone, how's it going again? Today is the day that I choose who gets Shadow, Blaze, Tangle, Amy, Jewel and Rouge. I gotta say that quite a few of you caught my ears on your performances, so please bear with me since I'm gonna have to take my time later tonight with the list of actors/actresses that I'm considering for the roles since choosing can be a bit of a challenge. My timezone is CST. I will say that if I don't choose a role today, I will confirm that it's because I'm still thinking on which one to choose from. We're still early on November and I will say that we will start this on late-mid or near end November. So there's no need to rush right now. To the few who gets a role, I wanna say congrats and I hope we can work well on this project with our communication, and perhaps work on other Sonic projects in the future. Please, be sure to remember this project and have the time and commitment when the time comes to start. And to those who don't get a role, while I understand fully how the processing of auditioning goes, I'm still grateful to see the many people who have come to try it out and I'ts cool to see you guys also support this project and perhaps wanna see how it turns out. I hope you can continue to audition with whatever project you come across and keep improving to get any role that suits you. I'll see if I can post the dubs here later when it's mid or end December. With that being said, I'll start choosing the actor and actresses for the roles at nighttime. I'll give an update later if I need time or anything else to report.     Hello everyone, how are things going? First I would like to say that I'm glad to see the many auditions that participated in this project. Hearing the many different voices/ranges and recognizing a few names is always a treat. The deadline will still remain on the 12th, which will be the last day to audition. If you have any questions for the last days about your audition or anything else, you can DM me in CCC. The 13th will be the day the auditioning closes and I will decide on who gets each role. If I don't give a certain role on the 13th, it's either because I'm still thinking on who to give it too or I'm scouting for someone else. I have all the images for the comics, music and sound effects. I'm nearly done with the translation, which I will have to add into each image for the dub and get it accurately with the context of the story. With that being said this is the small update, that I wanted to bring out to you guys. If you feel like you want to re-audition for a better take on the roles then feel free. Hope you all are doing great and have a pleasant and magical Christmas this year with friends, family or your special someone.

Shadow the Hedgehog is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. He is an anthropomorphic hedgehog/Black Arms hybrid who resembles Sonic the Hedgehog in many ways and serves as his arch-rival and occasional ally. Shadow was created as the "Ultimate Life Form" by Gerald Robotnik by using the DNA of Black Doom, and is the end result of Project Shadow. 

Being Sonic's polar opposite personality-wise, Shadow is, bluntly put, a brooding loner. He usually acts with a cool and businesslike indifference, only occasionally showing his vulnerable side. He is rarely seen with others for an extended period of time and usually distances himself from essentially everyone. He is usually blunt and does not speak much, but he always knows exactly what to say in combat. However, Shadow never bluffs; if he makes a threat, he has every intention of carrying it out. However, he does deeply care for others but has a hard time of expressing it.

Amy Rose also known as Rosy the Rascal, is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. She is an anthropomorphic hedgehog with a major crush on Sonic the Hedgehog. Since meeting Sonic on Little Planet, Amy has become his self-proclaimed girlfriend and has attempted to win his heart by any means in many of their adventures. She wields the Piko Piko Hammer, which she uses with skills second to none and never leaves home without it.

Bold, cheerful, romantic and fearless, Amy is a proactive go-getter that goes after what she wants and lets nothing get in her way. Amy is described as an "energetic tomboy," though by the time of the Chaos incident, she is shown to have traditional feminine interests nonetheless, such as shopping and fashion. She also hates boredom and loves thrills and excitement and openly expresses her emotions and feelings without a problem or what others think.

Rouge the Bat is a fictional character from the Sonic the Hedgehog series. She is an anthropomorphic bat and jewel thief that has worked as a part-time government spy for the President of the United Federation and in close association with the Guardian Units of Nations. A world-famous treasure hunter, Rouge has a weakness for jewels, like the Master Emerald and Chaos Emeralds, which she always obsesses about. As a spy, Rouge is trained in combat, stealth and infiltration, and possesses both super-level kicking power and flight.

Rouge is in short, an enigma, as her motivations are always in question. In truth, she is usually just out for herself. She is smart, sassy, and seductive, and knows how to get what she wants. She is a strong-minded female bat with a collected and convivial voice. A person of many mysteries, always playing an active role on both sides of the truth in many global affairs. Her appeal is very complex, but it is not too far off to describe her as an elusive, mysterious, and mature woman who is true to her desires. To most people, Rouge appears as a brave, ambitious, independent, flirtatious, greedy, calculating narcissist who only thinks about herself and treasure.

Blaze the Cat  is a character from the Sonic the Hedgehog series. She is an anthropomorphic cat from an alternate dimension, where she is both the imperial princess of the Sol Empire who has the right to inherit the throne, and the appointed guardian of the Sol Emeralds, a role similar to that of Sonic and Knuckles combined and that of a shrine maiden, although she appears too busy for such an admirable position as the latter. Despite being in a position of considerable power though, Blaze tends to escape her castle and act rather freely and independently. As her name suggests, she is gifted with the power of pyrokinesis.

A noble soul and strong young lady, Blaze is highly devoted to the well-fare of her people, her motto being "My power is to protect the smiles of my people." She is normally rather calm and solemn, but tends to conceal her true feelings. She is also often described as elegant, which is demonstrated through her body movements and her ballerina-like fighting style. Being royalty, Blaze is quite stoic personality-wise, which is a perfect example of the spirit of the noblesse oblige, as she is very frequently doing her official duties, but still tries to do her best for everyone's peace. Because of her lineage and her stoicism, she is sometimes too distant from those around her, but that is also the flip side of her good nature.

Tangle the Lemur is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by IDW Publishing. She is an anthropomorphic ring-tailed lemur from Spiral Hill Village and a former member of the Restoration. She first became acquainted with Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends during the fallout after the Eggman War, when she sprang into action to defend her village from one of the Badnik hordes terrorizing villages across the world. Since then, she has been a recurring participant in the adventures of Sonic and his allies.

Heroic, optimistic, and just as fearless as Sonic the Hedgehog, Tangle is scrappy and loves to tangle with bad guys. Not intimidated by danger in the slightest, she has a thirst for adventure and excitement and craves new challenges for herself. However, her desire for adventures makes her reckless and prone to jump head-first into danger without a care in the world. She can also be somewhat careless in battle, like using her tail in a way that gets it injured and getting so caught up in her own excitement that she forgets to watch out for enemies. She is loud, extroverted, and easily excitable, but also friendly, polite, helpful and open.

Jewel the Beetle is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by IDW Publishing. She is an anthropomorphic beetle and the curator of the Mineral Museum. She is also Tangle the Lemur's best friend and the current director of the Restoration.

Jewel is a well-mannered person with a bright sense of humor and a passion for both minerals and organization. Whereas Tangle is reckless and loud, Jewel is more reserved and cautious. She is also a bit timid and does not like violence, but is still ready to help others as much as she can, sometimes at the risk of her own well-being. However, she easily succumbs to stressful situations, which makes it difficult for her to concentrate and leaves her in need of emotional support.
