Columns SMP; What is it?
⛏⭐ Hello there! The Columns team is pleased to announce that we're inviting new talented voices to join as background characters for our upcoming Columns SMP project, a story that has been inspired by different series such as 'Divergent', 'Maze Runner' and 'The Hunger Games.' This story takes place in the far future, however these background characters are used when filming flashbacks, specifically to show the important people that were in other characters lives before they were sent into 'The Catch', the Capitols only source of entertainment. The capitol controls almost every part of life.⛏⭐
🌷🐾 There'll be flashbacks for the major characters who get sent into The Catch, as to how these characters come in. These characters are needed to visually show the major backstories to solidify more about someone's character, personality, lore, etc. Without these characters, some parts of different stories can go missing. Even if they are background characters, they still uphold a lot in the story, as to why we're calling out for new VA's again! We want people who are passionate in what they do; we want VA's that can adapt in their settings, and be in character when needed.🌷🐾
Casting Requirements;
🌿🍂 There's no need for any experience with the 'Divergent', 'Maze Runner', or even 'Hunger Games' lore, as this series is original in its own way. You also don't need much improv experience either, as long as you're able to really get into the settings and improve on your struggles. Passion is key to have the performance for your character. You should make sure to add your discord user in your audition description, as you'll most likely receive a message from someone named 'Freaks', the creator of the Columns SMP, regarding of your application for the series. Please make sure to submit your application before February 10th . Include your discord information and a brief introduction.🌿🍂

• Woman (she/her), effeminate, whoever does it for the skinwalker Maria. Is known to be the loving wife to Tardif Katio.

• Pitch: medium to medium high.
• Woman (she/her), was known to be in the Dauntless faction alongside her closest training partner and "friend", Nina C. Powell. Her voice sounds gentle and angelic, which helps to compliment her kindness to Nina when they used to talk.
• Her personality is hyper, full of spirit and takes risks and is almost the opposite of Nina, who isn't used to that sense of emotion Therese expresses daily. Therese talks to Nina almost lovingly, and enjoys teasing her at times when it's needed.

• Woman (she/her), known to be Valeur's wife and the mother of wonderful and strong children. She used to be loving at first, however as her marriage forwarded, her abusive behaviour grew through the cracks.

• Pitch: Usually any pitch, however the pitch that suits his character most in a medium low to low pitch range. His voice sounds distressed and almost worried.
• Male (he/him), and is the father to Mercy.
"Mercy!? Where are you? Please.. I promise that it's me. You're safe! You don't need to hide anymore! Just please answer me!"

• Male, fairly "normal", disciplined, but forgetting to do something and is a little afraid of Tardif, as voice quivers a little when speaking to him.

• Female, has a foreign accent (perhaps nordic, wing it or don't worry about an accent). She's blatantly scared of Tardif and caves to his questions.
"…Fine, yes. That’s me… But I imagine you know why I had to leave. Wouldn’t you do the same?"
"I… I don’t want to die… All I wanted to do was just run my damn bakery in peace.."

• No canonical gender, as this is simply a background character for Tardif's flashback
Fairly curt or dismissive as they state Tardif's appointment is now.
"Captain Tardif Kaito, Doctor Heikler will see you now in his office."

• Pitch: medium to medium high.
• Male (he/him) Essentially your stereotypical sounding therapist. Very calm tone and seemingly quite understanding, is labeled as male, though nothing canonical has ever said otherwise, so any voice works.
"How have you been Tardif? Since our last session, since we halved your dosage?"
"To what I am allowed to know about your training process, there are some undesired side effects like this. You remember we talked about “Psychotic Cognitive Dissociation” a few months ago, correct?"
• Pitch: medium to low ranging voice, with any accent that you'd maybe have in mind for Grant.
• Male (he/him), is known to be Oscar's magic tutor.
"Oscar, is that you? (sighs) Good. I need your help to get this confound machine started."
