Project Overview
[MESSAGE]
Thank you so much for viewing this project! This is my first time hosting something like this, so please don’t expect professional level scripting or editing, xD! We have a lot of characters, so I'm hoping a bunch of people audition ;-;
BUT, before you audition, there are a few things you should be aware of (they will be on Casting Call Club as well):
[RULES]
1. Timing: Please submit your audition on time! It would help a ton.
2. Quality: Try to use a decent microphone, with as little background noise as possible.
3. Dedication: By auditioning, you are agreeing to be dedicated to the project, and to submit all your lines on time!
4. Communication: Please include your Discord tag in the audition, as that is how I will be communicating with everybody.
5. Acting: This will be a voice ACTED series. Please try to put some emotion into your lines!
6. Age: I’d like everybody that is participating to be at least 13 years old. This is because the voices should match the characters, who are all in high school.
7. Characters: You can audition for as many characters as you want! However, you may only audition once per character, but you can do multiple takes within that voice file.
[EXTRA INFORMATION]
1. Deadline: The deadline is January 21th, but I may be closing some characters before that. However, if certain characters have not been closed by that date, the deadline will be extended.
2. Singing: This series will include singing. I have marked characters who will have major singing roles with “***,” so please sing a short part of your favorite song in those auditions.
3. Helpful Resource: This video contains my original ideas for the characters’ voices: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ByVPzVHI15I. Your auditions don’t need to be exactly like it, so just use a voice that you think fits the character.
4. Number: You can only get one Major/Supporting role. However, Minor/Extra roles are not limited.
5. Episodes: Be aware that some characters will not show up until later episodes.
6. Script: The script has not been completely finished yet, so some of the lines are just things that the character would say, but not necessarily in the actual plot.
[ABOUT THE SERIES]
“Charity” is a series focusing on the life of April, the daughter of a large corporation owner. This series mainly takes place at a fictional school, “Orchid High School.” Intertwined within the problems of teenage life are multiple smaller conflicts, as well as a large overarching danger. Is the new annual Vocal Battle hosted by another large local business really just a singing competition to raise money for children in need, or something more sinister?
