Spartan 0013. The Cinder. Since his deployment in the field he has only worked with his operator and runs most on-surface missions alone. Despite those scenarios, he actually maintains a sociable attitude and often jokes with his operator on missions.
He is sarcastic, brash and confident.
(Reflective) It was supposed to be an easy torch and burn. Nothing special. If only it was that easy.
(Joking) Come on, you know me. I prefer the full frontal approach.
(Slight Panic) Yeah, I think it might be time to make an exit!
Unimaginably intelligent and swift, Cypher is the team's hacker. There isn't a door or console in the universe she can't crack open. You won't find her hunched over behind a screen though. Cypher takes her work to the ground, lighting the way for her team, making wise cracks the whole way.
She is refined, calm and occasionally quirky.
(Joking) I would explain, but I'll do us both a favor and skip the part where I confuse you.
(Serious) Alright, I think I've heard enough.
(Confident) Well, we're not just gonna let him run circles around us, are we?
Watchdog never thought he'd end up becoming a Spartan. For most of his adult life he worked as a for-hire bodyguard for high end VIPs. Billionaires, Politicians, Crime Lords, Business Sharks or whoever could afford one of Earth's most effective protectors. However, one bad job and a UNSC staged setup landed him right in the Spartan IV program.
He would tell you that it beats the hell out of chipping away the glass on Meridian, his only other alternative.
His voice is a tad more gruff. He is large in character but quiet in the grander scheme of conversation.
(Reluctant) Sure, I'll go in. I love playing bullet sponge.
(Proud) Back on Earth, there wasn't a man in the city brave enough to challenge me.
(Hushed Tone) How long do you think the new guy's got. I've got five on one week.
Some join the UNSC because they lost everything. Viper joined because he never had anything. His home and family were destroyed during the war with the Covenant. He grew up an orphan on the planet Ballast. At 18, he entered the UNSC and his skill did not go unmeasured. When the Spartan IV program offered him a one-way ticket to the front gates of hell, there was no hesitation.
(Commanding) Last chance, dirtbag. Come out with your hands up!
(Argumentative) So what's your plan? Sit around and wait to get wasted like those guys?
(Reflective) Maybe things could have been different. But that doesn't matter now.
Not much is know about the Rogue. For some time he operated within the Spartan IV system like a well oiled machine. However, the mysterious death of his squad left something amiss in that machine. He has chosen to abandon the UNSC and now seems to be targeting humanity as a whole.
He is mysterious, dark and while he is the primary antagonist, he is not overly violent or mean. This can make him appear cold and distant.
(Reflective) Humanity has over stepped it's bounds. What comes next, is only natural.
(Taunting) Try as you might Spartans, you will never catch me. I'll always be two steps ahead.
(Serious) Man your posts and get those doors closed. They can not be allowed to enter!
Jai is the team operator. She originally worked with just Cinder on his missions but gets transferred over along with him to Artemis Team. She is quick and slightly cynical, but her sharp reflexes and attention to detail have saved Cinder more than once.
While it is not required, an accent of some variation would be preferable for this character.
Try not to fall asleep Cin, this next bit is important.
I'm tracking multiple hostiles headed your way.
Mirage is a special unit that serves underneath The Rogue. Mirage units are fitted with camo gear that allows them to mask themselves as invisible. This ability, coupled with rigorous training and lethal skill makes them accomplished assassins and deadly warriors.
This Mirage unit is unnamed but will have direct interaction with the main characters several times. They have a deep hatred for Spartans and the UNSC both.
This character can be male or female. Several Mirage units will appear over the course of the series, so multiple voices for minor reads may be cast.
(Mocking) So, this is the best the Spartans have to offer. Pathetic.
(Serious) Oh yes. Things just got interesting.

Dr. Xander is a scientist that has a brief exchange of dialogue with Brutus. He is meant to be an intellectual, but in the scene he appears in, he has a serious in tone.

Sargent DuPont is the one who reassigns Cinder to Artemis Team. Besides the dialogue needed for the reassignment scene, his role is very minor. He is supposed to project the voice of a ranking officer though, making him assertive but not in an overbearing way.
