Chess The Anime will be a chess themed Yugioh parody about a dark sorcerer trapping human souls into chess pieces to keep himself alive forever. A girl named Ponchan has to defeat him in a chess match to free her father and all the rest of the trapped souls.
Must be able to work remotely, professional quality microphone, and be able to communicate through discord or email.

Ponchan is a young female chess player who is trying to defeat a dark sorcerer in a high stakes chess match to save souls that have been trapped in the villain's chess pieces. The voice should sound like a teen-young adult. If you can make the voice sound similar to how characters sound in anime dubs, that's a plus! You do not need to know how to play chess to audition. (but it doesn't hurt if you do obviously) This short film will only be about 2-3 minutes, Ponchan only has about 7 lines. The flat rate for this role is 10$ Canadian. [worried/scared] No!! I’m forked! The Knight can take my Queen OR my Rook! No matter which one I save, the other’s doomed. And because a Knight is worse than a Rook or Queen, it’s a bad trade for me. I should move my queen… but there’s so few safe spots. Once I move, he can upgrade his pawn to a Queen and place me in check. (begins quietly crying)
[Inspired/strategizing] I need to remember what sensei taught me... Danger levels! That’s right!! I just need to threaten one of his more important pieces, then he CAN’T take Queen or Rook! I’ll move my Rook to the back row, he’ll be forced to move his King to safety.
[Happy] Checkmate!! Father! You're alive! (starts crying tears of joy)
