(Voice Backup Casting Call!) Gecko-Chan WebComic FanDub! Episode 2: The Origins

Project Overview

(All you need for this project is a decent-sounding microphone. By desktop or phone, it doesn't matter, as long as there's little to no background noise, no mic popping, and no static when you audition. A Discord Account for contact is recommended, but not required, as I can contact you here on the Casting Call Club website if you'd like, Discord is just more of an easier reach. Good luck auditioning, and if you get cast for a role, be prepared to possibly stick around for future projects! Enjoy, Future Jigglypuff Lovers!)

With one of my projects nearly finished after a few months of editing 41 minutes of this video, the longest video I would've EVER made, along with having some voice backups, I thought I'd might start doing this casting call early, since I will start working on this at last after I publish the 41-minute video. This project was originally fully cast with nearly EVERY line from everybody sent in and ready, but Baby Gecko's recordings haven't all been sent yet, and the original voice for them hasn't been on C.C.C. or Discord in a while, which is why I'm making this casting call. Because this is a voice backup casting call, I'd recommend everyone who's interested in auditioning send in their recordings as soon as possible, because once I've found the voice I'm looking for, I'll start casting as soon as a day passes! Now, if the original voice actor for Baby Gecko contacts me, I'll give everyone an update about it and let you know. That's why I call this a backup casting call.

Poor, nervous Gecko-Chan didn't quite make a good first impression on their first day of school... They had broken a classroom door and had nearly CRUSHED their teacher! Although Gecko did manage to hit it off with some classmates that are just about as awkward as Gecko, things are about to go from bad to worse, because in an introduction speech, Gecko-Chan reveals their origins and how they were born... Which is sweet in context, but Gecko accidentally reveals a bit too much about their life in the speech, and with your magical powers being given away for the whole classroom to hear, you're not going to be safe with anyone letting that go...

(The following project is a non-profit webcomic fandub made just for your entertainment and mine. The Gecko-Chan character and the whole webcomic series all belong to a talented artist named Meritxell Garcia, and I do not own anything she has in any way, shape or form. I suggest you support the creator of these cute, wholesome adventures by checking out more of the Gecko-Chan series! You'll really enjoy them, I promise you. The prologue will be uploaded to my YouTube Channel. Good luck and enjoy!)

Before Gecko-Chan was born, they were inside a big, cool, sparkly egg that was trapped inside an even bigger block of ice! But after the trio of travelling scientists, James, Alice and Martin, discovered this rare species of egg, and took it back to their research lab to warm it up, the little legend was born... Gecko-Chan's first steps into the world had arrived!

(For Baby Gecko-Chan's voice, I'm looking for a cute and adorable high-pitched creature voice. A Dee Bradley Baker performance, you might say. I'm mainly looking for a female for this role to give off a high-pitched baby creature vibe. I've actually got some references from other media on how I picture Baby Gecko to possibly sound, OR, you can go for the kind of creature voice the original voice for Baby Gecko chose for the role.)  https://drive.google.com/file/d/10TcwQLfHNXROU2RPcLyaUIv1LjbaLh1m/view?usp=sharing
