Casting for the role of Narrator in H.P. Lovecraft's early story, The Beast in the Cave!
This is a short story written by Lovecraft when he was in his early teens.
When a man becomes lost in a cave, he swears he hears creature like noises coming after him. But soon finds out the creature was nothing he'd imagined, and now it's too late.
The story will be made into an audio drama for a modern day audience. We use music and sound effects to create the atmosphere and will upload the episode to Youtube and Spotify.
Please only audition with clear and precise audio. Be available to go over the story at least once before lines are submitted. Submit lines in .Wav format.

I was lost, completely, hopelessly lost in the vast and labyrinthine recess of the Mammoth Cave.
For a moment I was so struck with horror at the eyes thus revealed that I noted nothing else. They were black, those eyes, deep jetty black, in hideous contrast to the snow-white hair and flesh.
The fear left, and wonder, awe, compassion, and reverence succeeded in its place, for the sounds uttered by the stricken figure that lay stretched out on the limestone had told us the awesome truth...
