Call of Duty 4 The Deal

Project Overview

The Deal is a total conversion singleplayer mission mod for Call of Duty 4 which is heavily inspired from the 007 James Bond movies along with other video games and movies. The mission revolves around a secret meeting that takes place in middle of London on which the MI6 is spying upon.

The mod has many graphical improvements that were achieved by porting a plethora of high quality assets from later call of duty games, even from the remastered versions.

The majority of the mission takes place in a luxurious hotel with a fictional representation of London as background. A busy street as well as tall city buildings dominate the exteriors of the hotel. It revolves around two Mi6 Agents who have a special mission in a Hotel, a small squad of S.A.S. special forces, and London Police officers all connected to the same event.

There will be three chapters where you will play as different factions each time with a different objective even though they all connected.

The Deal is using the Rooftops 2 Campaign mod as a base to develop expand upon. There will be many assets such as UI design and various script systems that are derived from Rooftops 2 to speed up the development, improve the efficiency of the existing codes, and provide a stable experience similar to the one in Rooftops 2.

Aside from the same mod base that The Deal and Rooftops 2 share, their plots are also connected. The Deal is a prequel of Rooftops 2, it takes place two years before Rooftops 1 and Rooftops 2 events. Most of the main Rooftops 2 characters will make their appearance and will play an important role in The Deal.

The Deal is an ambitious project which aims on bringing an entertaining singleplayer mission, with high quality assets and visuals, fun gunfights, innovative playable sequences, and surprising twists. It is a long awaited project that will finally rise up to its full potential.

Corporal Alex Drake

Alex Drake is a corporal in the UKs S.A.S. special forces. He is originated from Scotland and therefore has a Scottish accent. In his appearance in the project he will be leading a small team into infiltrating a luxurious hotel in the middle of London for their special operation. Rappelling down the roof and sneaking outside the windows, slowly exploring the hotel's hallways, silently taking out enemies, and reaching their objective is the tone of all three operators.

  • [Alex is on the hotel's roof with his team giving instructions on how to approach their objective. The voice tone is low yet easily audible. Not whispering. An example of the desired voice tone here can be found in Call of Duty Ghosts' Keegan's voice that is played by Brian Bloom. Federation Day level of that game has some of his best examples for our role.]

Simon, plant C4 on the lift mechanisms. We may need to cover our escape if things go south.

Our objective is on the top floor. But we'll have to clear out the floors beneath first.

Simon, rappel several floors below, and clear out hostile activity.

Watch out for civilians. Now go.

  • [Same as before. This time the team is sneaking inside the hotel's hallways]

This floor is crawling with hostiles. Andrew, stay here and cover the stairs.

Simon, you're with me. Get the door and hold your fire.

Two tangos on the left side. Take one, I'll take the other.

Good shot, we're in the clear, move up.

  • [The team has reached their objective, enemies are swarming their position and Alex's team defends the objective. Alex gives loud orders under gunfire.]

Incoming, from the staircases! They're coming in from both sides, stand your ground! Simon, don't let them interrupt the transfer. Keep them out of the room!

Simon, grab the DSM and leg it outta here!

Move, move! Get to the window!

Simon, jump for it! We'll cover you!

    Hold up...

[Opens the car door and peeks out of the car]

Role assigned to: Hobbs

The Governor in the story is going to be the person who the main suspect of the story is going to have a deal with. The governor's origins are unknown to player, but appear to be either Italian or Greek. A mix of both accents or a made up one that doesn't sound too different from the previously mentioned ones is desired. The Governor is trying to have a deal with a High Ranking General, his tone is normal while he is trying to get the General to ensure that he won't betray them after they have an agreement.

  • [A foreign General enters the room holding a briefcase containing the Governor's reward]

It is good to finally meet you in person, General.

Let us take a look, shall we?

  • [After taking a look at the reward, the Governor is showing concern about his own safety after a deal is made]

General... The risk we are taking here is far too great.

Giving the two regions to you is already putting us in danger.

  • [After the General presents his arguments, the Governor confronts the General with a direct question asking about his own safety]

If we go through with this, can you guarantee our safety, General?
