Following the Breathe and Live Hashira / Pillar introduction, we have the Breathe and Live : Showa Era Secrets!
Just like in the popular Manga and Anime Demon Slayer / Kimetsu no Yaiba, Breathe and Live plans to use the fun and popular ending credits "Taisho Era Secrets" as a fun little goodbye for coming streams! All of the featured secrets shall be preformed by NPC's and offer fun tidbits about Player Characters, NPCs and places featured in the streams!
What to expect?
This project will be a large amount of tiny 25-30 Second animated sequences to be used for streams. All the lines will be directed in call.
Reason for being non-paid / lower paid!
If you're here from the Hashira / Pillars casting call and wondering why the difference between pay in this and the other project is, it's very simple. In terms of production, the other project is simply far more labor intensive and requires more attention to detail than the fun little post-stream bits that take. These "Showa Era Secrets" will be very light work with hardly any character sporting lines past 3-4 sentences. Payment beyond the first gig is negotiable however, at the moment the budget is very small for these bits.
It should be noted that, in the event of the characters below being brought in for an animated sequence, actors will be offered compensation for larger work loads.

Where will these be shown?
At the end of either every stream or every couple streams! We'll more than likely show them at the end of completed missions!

What is required for auditioning?
We ask that you have discord, a somewhat decent microphone and times available for voice direction!
What is the deadline?
The deadline is April 17th (11:59PM EST) and will stop allowing auditions past that point!
Do I have to know about Demon Slayer / Kimetsu no Yaiba to apply?
Absolutely not! This is just a fun project dummy, go for it!
*Note: Other characters will be added to the auditions post as we progress. The characters listed are planned to appear within the coming months, those farther out will be added to accommodate reveals.

The son of Senjuro Rengoku, Atsuhiko is brimming with excitement and has absolutely no clue what he's doing! But by god if he isn't doing it! Careless and strong willed, this little man is terrified of everything, but that won't stop him! He's loud, brash and very impulsive, be loud but don't peak your microphone!
<Feigning Confidence>
“A-A Demon? HAH! T-That's absolutely no issue for me! I kill demons like you in my sleep!”
<Boisterous, Laughing>
“Like it?! I LOVE IT! I couldn't ask for a more thoughtful gift!”

Reserved and judgmental, Jun has no interest in much besides doing his job and showing everyone up in the process. His character has to carry the sense of superiority in every circumstance, so give him a condescending tone and a hushed voice that's a little higher than most!
<Hushed, just below a regular inside voice>
"Stand there or come along, I won't pretend to care."
<Angry>
"Well if you didn't wanna die, why the hell did you come with us?!"
<Tired, ehausted>
"Atsu. Carry me to my room, I have retired from walking for the day."
Kenta is a low ranking demon slayer who accidently befriended two of the most idiotic slayers out there! He just wants to do his part, but gets pulled into situations he's not ready for. He's exhausted, pushed beyond his limits and scared out of his wits, try to portray him in an almost scaredy cat archetype!
<Scared>
"Atsu, Jun, Wait! We weren't assigned this mission, that was posted for Hashira! Not lower ranking-- STOP WALKING AWAY!"
<Quaking, shivering>
"-S-So there's nothing in here? Like nothing that's gonna jump out and bite my head off? Or dismember me while I'm still screaming?"

"low ranking mission? WITH HIGH PAY? AND IT'S A DELIVERY? I must be dreaming!"
His time spent out hunting demons is on par to that of the time he spends locked into his room. A very precise and well spoken boy Katsuo is methodical in what he chooses to do and say, he has an air of grief about him but its never too present during conversation. When he's tired, he sounds as though he's just gotten up. When he is agitated however he does tend to sound more lively.

"You can be mad at me all you want, there was never a chance I was leaving before sunrise. You knew that."
<Agitated but Focused>
"If I could finish this piece when I got back, we would be gone already! You're gonna have to wait for me to be done! Inspiration isn't something an artist can hold forever you've gotta let me finish!"
<Indecisive, panicked>
"I don't think I can go without everyone, I can't handle something like this... Not on my own at least."
Hanabi is the adult of the group and only sometimes portrays the part. He's always irate or displeased with something no matter how well he keeps his composure. Demeaning and spiteful he will not hesitate to share his disagreements and make sure they are heard. Heavy emphasis on condescending tones when called for, but otherwise try and keep it polite sounding.
<Agitated, Frustrated.>
"If I wanted to have a useless trash wave a sword around like a fish flopping itself to death on a dock. I WOULD HAVE ASKED FOR IT!"
<Dismissive>
"It doesn't matter if you think you have skill, you can believe in yourself till you drop dead. When you stop focusing on yourself is when you start saving lives."
<Disgusted>
"Who the fuck asked for your lowly input? Does it look like I give the slightest shit about what a new recruit has to say about my attitude?"
Tojiro Goto is a senior member of the Demon Sayer Corps with a bitter attitude towards most things in life. Having exceptional skill in all facets of slaying his personality is far overlooked by his superiors and if it not for special conditions the man would've reached the title of Hashira by now. Portray him with an uncaring and unfeeling coldness that is evident in his communication to others.
<Agitated, trying to leave>
"Listen, while others may enjoy useless meetings and chats before going out and killing these disgusting creatures, I myself find it tedious and dull. Now if you don't mind I have a job and I intend to be done with it by sunset."
<Comforting yet uneasy>
"Listen... Ayu I-- I know it's scary but... But power comes at a cost. Sometimes, people are willing to accept that cost."
<Angry, almost shouting>
"What do you mean 'No'? I don't think you understand, I wasn't asking if you felt like handing the boy a cure, I was telling you to give it to him."
Takane is an unsociable beastly girl that rarely shows up on the estates grounds, when she does she's only there to collect and act higher than others. She has no ill feelings towards others but she does not hold many in higher regard than herself. She does tend to show emotion if it's brought out of her but that requires either a level of comfort rarely found or intensely stressful situations.
<Irate, frustrated>
"I don't do groups, partners, students or any of that crap, I do solo work and solo work only. If you wanted a teacher maybe you should go beg a hashira."
<Impatient, whispering>
"How am I supposed to tear those things apart without anythin in my stomach. C'mon man you can't bring me out here, starve me and then expect me to go wild with nothing in my stomach!"

"This is why I don't do stake outs... If you rush in swinging a sword, you either kill or get killed and then it's over."
