Bloop and Friends [Animated Series]
Project Overview
Overview:
Started in November of 2019, Bloop and Friends has been a passion project fueled by a collective love for cartoons and storytelling. Over the last one and a half years, the team has been working on the pilot episode behind the scenes and have also currently released two videos to provide insight on what exactly we're making. We are in need of artists, storyboard artists, animators, musicians, and video editors right now, but an Extra VA role is there if you'd like to audition as such.
Plot:
The plot of Bloop and Friends is about a teenage girl (Penelope) who has been bullied and put down for most of her life by others. Due to this constant bullying, she's grown to be secluded and alone. However, when her high school is taken over by an interdimensional group of villains called The Alliance, she escapes the new principal and vice principal (Jacklon and Spencer) to a different dimension and meets a small talking square (Bloop), who is the only person she can call a true friend. The two then work together to take down The Alliance and its leader, an evil goddess of the dark (The Overseer), by hopping through new dimensions.
Rules for Auditioning:
- You NEED to be completely sure about working on the project before attempting to join. Members randomly leaving in the middle of production has been a problem for a while now, so please be certain beforehand. However, leaving for an actual reason and telling me about it beforehand is always okay with me.
- An account for the messaging platform Discord is a necessity as the team talks there in our private server. Please provide your account username and four numbers in your audition so I can contact you (e.g. Juicimated#5914).
Please keep in mind: this project contains swearing, blood, and potentially dark subject matter. It also contains LGBTQ+ characters and relationships. If you aren't able to handle profanity, violent/dark scenes, or are someone who doesn't respect the many different aspects of the LGBTQ+ community, do not audition.
