Walter is an arrogant, career-minded boy who wants to grow up too fast. With a deep need to feel important, he wants to be chosen as Light of the North just like his dad. For that reason, he forgets being a kid to prepare himself for this great responsibility that he is so confident he will receive. Even when he is just goofing off with Aurora, he is determined to be the best and hates losing. He is a huge nerd for the light and easily excited by historical artifacts and new facts about it.
