I am looking for voice actors for my 15 minute animatic titled At The Door. The story follows Alex and Maxwell, two vigilantes in Victorian Era England as they hunt down a serial killer and maybe even the worst enemy of all--overbearing supervillain parents.
As this takes place in London, all characters will speak in an English accent. For main roles, I will be paying up to $40 for all lines. Smaller roles (under 10 lines) will be paid $15 to $25. I can pay through PayPal and CashApp. I am a freelance illustrator, and this is my first time producing an animatic--however, you can see some examples of my artwork @/binscurtis on Instagram, which is where I mainly post.
Auditions start December 25th, 2021, and will be closed January 25th, 2022. You will be notified if you were chosen as a voice actor by Valentine's Day, along with a script. I will highlight the portions you will be speaking if you would like! All I need is your voice, I will do extra necessary editing/post-production. I need all lines completed and sent back to me by March 15th, 2022. Please don't hesitate to send them earlier if they're finished.
I will provide you with my email, where you can send lines through a .wav or mp3 file. If the files are too large to send through email, please compress to the best of your abilities without hurting audio quality. Feel free to communicate with me through there, but I will also be utilizing Discord (invader trin #9406).

To make a long story short, I redrew 9 months worth of work in 4 months. Super exhausted lol, but I definitely learned a lot about perseverance and patience. Anyways, the animatic is DONE!! The full 18 minute long animatic will be premiering on YouTube on January 10th!

Maxwell is a cynic and egotistical, but harbors a soft spot for his work partner and best friend Alex. Flirty and exuberant, Maxwell is not afraid to show off his good looks (or lack thereof) to the women around town. (Last name is pronounced Mill-ett, not My-Let or Millet. Sorry for the confusion).
I could never envision the perfect voice for Maxwell in my head. Not deep, but not a teenager's voice either. Sounds like a more mature young adult, but immature in his dialect. Make sure to not make his English accent too heavy, more like a stuck up rich kid than a big brawny dude.
(Stubborn) I could get a job wherever I want! (PAUSE) Uh, because I don't want to?
I just think she's--*wheezes*--I just think she's neat! You didn't happen to see that your girl buddy is a total babe?
(Scared) Don't shoot! How many women have you killed? I thought you were a murderer, and I was right!
Jansor works with the Underground, a secret society in London run by Charles and Antonio. His voice is not set in stone, I'm just envisioning a smooth British voice, something that could be considered charming, but not coming from Jansor. Maybe like a British Markiplier.
(Threatening) Just...don't stick your nose into places you don't belong, okay?
All of these girls were associated with the Underground and needed to be eradicated. I'm not just some--some lady killer!
(Angry) You guys need to get me out of here, and you need to get rid of that Mylett kid!
[(Pronounced Mill-ett, not My-let/Millet). Sorry for the confusion!!]
Sarah is a femme fatale character who dates men with money to murder them later on. She sounds like a more soft-spoken Georgina Leahy from Brandon Rogers' Normal British Series. I'm open to different interpretations of her voice though, not everything is set in stone!
Not much is known about her backstory, but she has known Alex for a very long time.
(Annoyed) Okay, I'll put up with a lot for a guy with cash to spare, but you're just a creep. You couldn't pay me to be civil.
(Exhasperated) These men, always fighting over me!
(Flirty) Oh, you're rich?! Why didn't you say so sooner, sweetie?
I always imagined Antonio's voice to sound like a slightly higher pitched, British Daveed Diggs from Hamilton. Antonio is very temperamental but Charles evens him out. Similarly to his brother, he is not fond of Maxwell and is in the process of plotting his demise.
(Excited) Alexander, it's been so long! It's like we never even see each other anymore!
(Giddy) We never touched your room, it'll be like you never even left us!
(Scolding) Serial killer? You know not to call it that! We are unpaid bounty hunters.
Kinda sounds like Ferb from Phineas and Ferb. Charles doesn't speak much, and he's his brother Antonio's softer side. However, Charles can be dangerous if provoked.
Charles and Antonio raised Alex and led him to be the heir to the Underground. After their son broke free, things have been tense. They are not fans of Maxwell as they think he is a bad influence.
(Threatening) Do not talk back, Alexander.
Hey, let's not be hasty. Everybody calm down, let's continue this conversation like civilized people.
(Furious) You're unemployed?!
