Intro
Hello everyone! My name is Caleb, and I'm looking for additional cast members for the second season of an original audio drama that I have written. The season will run for 7 episodes. There are 21 female roles and 21 male roles open as well as 1 Non-binary role. I promised that this second season will be paid. I intend to keep that promise, so actors this season will receive some monetary compensation. I can’t wait to hear all your lovely voices. Below is some of the plot to give you guys an idea of the story as well as rules for auditioning.
Plot
The Human World and the Archionic Realm. Two worlds connected through dimensional cracks in reality. The archion have been around as long as humans, maybe even longer. Some have been worshipped as Gods, while others have been feared as demons. Their presence amongst humans has created much of the mythology we know today. As their world begins to fall apart, many of the archion have resorted to drastic measures for their survival. Some intend to live peacefully among us, hidden from sight, while some intend to take the human world by force. Upon this threat, the Archion Demonic Hunting League was formed in order to put a stop to an invasion, one Archion at a time. Headed by Sir Lionel Augustin, the League trains young minds to track and hunt archion and take them down.
One such hunter is Simeon Harigold, a member of Indigo Squad. One thing sets Simeon apart from the rest. Simeon is half-archion, having a human mother and archion father.
Back from their six month suspension, Indigo squad is given a new mission. Meet with a colony of half-archion people and negotiate an alliance. Coming along for the ride is Clifford Reeves, Melanie’s father, a person that she doesn’t have the best relationship with. As important as this mission is, they don’t know it also serves as a diversion of the mission that Hohenheim, Simeon’s father is on. There’s a killer on the loose. His targets? Half-archion.
Audition Rules
XLR or USB microphone is required. Audio must be high quality, with little to no background noise (no fans, other voices, outside noises, etc.)
I'll be using discord to communicate with the cast, so please add your discord to your audition or send it to me when you are cast if preferable.
If discord is not an option, other forms of communication are possible and can be discussed.
Feel free to audition for as many characters as you want. In fact, I recommend it. I want to hear the range your voice has.
If auditioning, be ready to commit to the production of all 7 episodes.
Some characters have “POC actors/actresses strongly suggested to audition”. POC actors/actresses can audition for ALL ROLES. These are just roles that I want to make sure are played by the right people.
While knowledge about Book 1 isn’t required, it is recommended to have listened to at least some of the first season to get a decent idea for the feel of the show.

Bio/personality: Human. Leader of the South Asian Sector of the Archion Demonic Hunting League. Youngest leader. Does things a little different than her older subordinates.

Bio/personality: Human. Sir Augustin’s person in the FBI. Main agent on the case Hohenheim is working on throughout the season. Tough woman you don’t want to mess with. Mostly business and case focused. Doesn’t leave much room for nonsense.

Bio/Personality: Human. Melanie’s father. Haunted by the horrific family history he created, Clifford wants to build himself into a man his daughter can be proud of. Has anger issues. Prone to emotional outbursts.

Bio/personality: Human. Bubbly personality that makes her sometimes seem younger than she actually is. Don’t let that fool you though. She knows how to lay down the law when she needs to. She travels with Indigo Squad on their mission in order to make sure Simeon stays in line.

Bio/personality: Half-Archion. Woman in charge of the half-archion colony Cor Mundorum (latin for heart of the worlds). Mother type. Wife to Sana (see minor characters). Considers the whole colony family. She has a strong sense of compassion towards others.

Bio/personality: Half-Archion. Faulka’s right hand man. Serves to introduce Cor Mundorum to our heroes. Calm and collected type. Wiser than his years. Very protective of his people. Wants to avoid his past life.

Bio/personality: Half-Archion. Grew up homeless on the streets of Moscow before finding her way to Cor Mundorum. Isn’t afraid to speak her mind. Competitive attitude. Gets angry when she doesn’t get what she wants.

Bio/personality: Archion. One of the main High Order members. She represents the peasant population of the Archion Realm alongside Gal. Conflicted about her hand in destroying the human world. Master of poison.

Voice suggestions: Open to interpretation. Character is several hundred years old but should have the voice of someone in their 30s.
“Careful, Bellum, get any angrier and you might pop a blood vessel. Wouldn’t want you dying on us just yet, soldier.”
“Calm, Gal, calm. They’re all half-human. Any one of them could open the walls between worlds for us.”
“Yes. We shared a lot of the same ideals. A shared understanding that life is valuable. We’ve lost sight of those ideals long ago.”

Bio/personality: Archion. One of the main high order members. Suffers from severe brain-rot (Archion disease). His mind is scattered, sometimes he can talk in intelligent full sentences, and other times he can barely string two words together. Wild, erratic, and unpredictable. Often resorts to brute force

“Then maybe they chose wrong! I don’t know how long you thought you’d be able to get away with this. When my time comes, I assure you I will make it as if this never happened!”

Bio/personality: Archion. The first archion king to have contact with humans. At the point where we see him, he’s become a frail and sick old man who doesn’t have much time left in the world. Hard-set on keeping a promise he believes he’s made, no matter what he deems the price of keeping it.

“She has not woken up in the 6 months she has been here. What makes you think you can do anything to change that?”
“This is the Arc of Worlds. This was given to me by the gods so I could come to earth and protect humanity. It is my destiny. Little did I know at the time, but the arc would prevent me from dying of old age. It wouldn’t stop me from getting sick, however.”

Bio/personality: Half-Archion. Young girl who has found herself in a strange new place. She has a level of naivety to her. Doesn’t have great control of her abilities.

Bio/personality: Archion. A rather strange man.He thinks he’s far better at what he does than he actually is. Consistently plans attacks to conquer the Von Astra family and fails every single time. As idiotic as he is, he still manages to find people who will follow him. Charismatic.

Bio/personality: Archion Beast. A giant wolf. Once an enemy of the Von Astra royal family, Fenrir now serves them in any way he can. Norse Mythology calls Fenrir the son of Loki, but Fenrir is actually born from a rare species of Archion beast.

Bio/personality: Archion Beast. A giant snake. Adopted brother of Fenrir. Unlike Fenrir, Jormungandr never forgave Agaes for imprisoning him, swearing on getting his revenge. In Norse Mythology, Jormungandr is known as the World Serpent, but he isn’t quite as large as the myths say he is.

Bio/personality: Archion. One of the main members of the High Order. General of the Order’s army. Likes to think he’s a bigger deal than he actually is. Thinks his status in the army makes him better than anyone else. The type to give orders even though he’s not actually in charge. When it comes to his life on the line, he’s actually quite the coward. A minor role this time but will play a larger role in future stories.

Bio/personality: Archion. One of the main members of the High Order. Assassin by trade. She’s a rather quiet individual but isn’t afraid to give Bellum a hard time. Has a political position but has zero interest in politics. A minor role this time but will play a larger role in future stories.

Bio/personality: Half-Archion. Blind. A cheerful goofball that likes to find the best out of any situation. The kind of person that’s main sense of humor is jokes at her own expense.

Bio/personality: Half-Archion. Absolute pyromaniac. Child at heart, even more so than Victor. Tends to prove his maturity in rather immature ways.

Bio/personality: Half-Archion. Modern day hippie. Can read people’s dreams. Almost always at a relaxed state.

Bio/personality: Human. Typical corrupt politician. Appears kind on the outside, but is a conniving coward on the inside. Hargarin’s kidnapping target.

Bio/personality: Human. Leader of the European sector of the Archion Demonic Hunting League. A stern and serious woman. Doesn’t like to be called ma’am or madam. Only Lady Ellis. Speaks in a very professional way, even when having a casual conversation.

Bio/personality: Human. Scam artist. Running a scam with Urzaan. Scummy to a fault. Able to switch between her fake, kind, and sweet persona and her real self on a dime. Great at playing the victim.
