Arc V Abridged Episode 10 Parts
Project Overview
Welcome to YGO Arc V Abridged, a parody series of Yu-Gi-Oh Arc-V created by Myself and NanoShifter! We are often looking for more voices to be a part of our projects so be sure to keep up with my posts to audition for any of our series in the future!
AUDITION GUIDELINES
Microphone must be good quality, XLR’s ideally, but we can accept some usb mics with the right treatment.
Dedication (Mainly for supporting roles or higher) we don't like having to replace VA's so only audition if you're able to stay with the series until completion, not if you don't plan to keep voice acting for long.
Discord is a requirement, as you will need to be live directed
You can attempt to imitate the voice from the show or go for something original! (If you feel up for it you can try both ways in your auditions)
OTHER INFORMATION
This will likely be a full series, don’t audition if you can’t stick around.
There is no payment involved in this project for voice actors, Abridges are non-profit series and can't be monetized so money is generally tight for that stuff
You must be comfortable swearing, even though the episodes are mostly censored
Feel free to audition for multiple roles!

Loli Tsundere are the keywords here, we're making her a full-on weeb, I'm talking about the whole "kawaii baka desu desu" kinda weeb. The only minor character in this casting as she comes into the series again a few times.
Mid-high range or high range
(angry) Y- Y- YOU PERVERT!
*The main character just accidentally saw up her dress (you know, as they do in anime) and she is not happy
(Cocky) Nice try, but that won’t be enough to take out my monsters, OR my lifepoints!
*The main character brings out a new monster which is powerful but seemingly not enough to win the duel
(shocked) BUT HOW?!
*The MC basically says that she's wrong and it IS powerful enough to win
[French accent is completely optional, that's just if you want to imitate the dub]
The Quiz kid is a one-off character, like most of the roles we're looking for in Episode 10. Not much to say about him.
Anywhere from Mid range to High range
(cheerful) Your next opponent, Yuya, will be me! In order to win this duel you will need all your brain power! There will be trivia, and pop quizzes, and-
*This is the character introducing himself before being interrupted by the main character
(Upset) But- But I had so many questions planned.
*Losing the duel immediately, he's upset because it feels unfair and he didn't get a chance to even battle
This is Jerry, he's not the brightest but he sure does add some comic relief, we're looking for a general "dumb guy" voice here.
Mid range or Mid-low range
(Worried) Oh no, this could be the guy we’re after!
*He's looking at a guy dressed in a trenchcoat with his face covered and suspects he MIGHT be up to no good.
(Still worried) This isn’t gonna end well!
*The enemy is about to attack. And once again Jerry states the obvious
This is Jerry's coworker and he has A TEMPER. Role is only two lines but we need you to bring out a lot of anger
Mid-low range or Low range
(Angry, yelling) OH YA THINK SO JERRY? YOU THINK THE GUY WITH SHADES AND A TRENCHCOAT IN THE MIDDLE OF BUTTF*** SUMMER JUST MIGHT BE THE GUY WE’RE AFTER?! NICE GOD DAMN DETECTIVE WORK
*In response to Jerry's first line
(Pissed off but talking more quietly) Jerry I swear to god…
*In response to Jerry's second line
Two girls having a conversation on the side of the street looking at the MC
(curious) Girl 1: Hey, does that hair look familiar to you?
*Seeing the MC and as in anime he has hair that really stands out
(whispering back) Girl 2: Yeah, I think that’s the kid who beat the Sledgehammer, you know I bet those pendulum cards would be worth a fortune..
