Project Overview

About The Project:

With the permission of the developers, I am starting a fandub of the visual novel game Andromeda Six, which is a sci-fi fantasy story game with romantic elements. It follows a customizable main character (named Nico for this production) and their journey through the universe of different planets. This project will span over a time of months and is nonprofit (but you'd get a lot of exposure, they have a steady fanbase). I think this is a fantastic way for voice actors to gain experience, as I am not looking for anything crazy, just that you can express basic emotions in your voice and be committed.

The game is still being developed, as it is released in a chapter by chapter basis; if you do not get a role, do not fear, as there is a chance I will reach out you because I was so impressed by your audition and you will be cast for a character that has come out in a later chapter.

About Andromeda Six:

"Set in the year 3025, you take on the role of a lost traveler. With no memory of your past, you wake up on the starship, Andromeda Six, surrounded by its crew of outcasts, each with their own vivid backstory and one common goal.  You must try to recover the pieces of your past to uncover your true identity and purpose, while learning to survive the political turmoil overtaking the galaxy after its recent terrorist attacks. On your journey you may end up discovering more than what you bargained for, but can you handle the truth of your past or will it end up consuming you? Will you follow the destiny the stars have written for you, or forge a new path?"

Requirements:

- I'd like you to be 17 or older due to the mature themes explored.
- Like every other project on this website, please no background noise and minimal echo/reverb in your recordings.
- If cast, in addition to your primary role, I might have you voice extras
- You must have discord for communication purposes. When you audition, please add your discord username (Name#0000) so if you are cast, I can send you a request.
- Be committed and able to meet deadlines. I also deal with Life(TM), but please if something is going on and you're unable to meet the deadline, let me know 1-2 days (or more preferably!) ahead of time.
- Be respectful. Wherever you go, whether it's online or in real life, there will be people that you don't like, but you still have to always respect people. I seriously doubt I'll have problems, but I expect you to be a good person by not spreading rumors, hurting feelings, or being unkind to another person. Treat others how you'd like to be treated. That being said, be open-minded, as this visual novel is LGBTQ+
- In the description of your audition, leave your name, age (preferably, but optional), and discord tag (Name#0000)
- When auditioning, don't read anything in parentheses, those are for guidance or other lines to help you contextualize the audition lines.

About Me:
My name is Silver! I am a Pisces INFJ completing my bachelor's in Biology and I love astrology, tarot, singing, playing flute, and playing games in my free time (generally visual novels, but also some Town of Salem, Dead By Daylight,  and Minecraft). I've voice acted before in a dub of the game The Arcana and some other smaller roles. I've also had some directing experience and love to make friends!

I honestly wasn't sure what to expect when I first posted my project to this website; so when I received your auditions, I was absolutely thrilled and /very/ impressed by how much talent everyone has. With her bright and no-nonsense personality, Aya always loved to live on the edge; faster, harder, stronger. After serving in Orsanna’s Guard with Cal, she’s now the mercenaries’ brave and cool ace pilot. Her passion for vehicles and speed can only be matched by her keen interest on hi-tech, and by the deep black hole that took place in her heart after a series of events. Having no longer a home, as her birth planet, Kitalpha, went Supernova several years ago, Aya feels she no longer belongs anywhere but the Starship.

As a little girl, Ryona knew she wanted to help people. Sure, it was in her blood. The Tilaari race were well-known for healing abilities and logic that far surpassed that of the other races in the Seleota System. Joining the Archangels, a charitable group who visits the most ravaged planets in the system to offer medical aid, Ryona thought she had found the chance to do some good in her world. Things didn’t go to plan. Kind and gentle, but with a fire sparking deep inside of her, you’ll often find Ryona in the med-bay. She hums softly to herself, and is always happy to receive a visit from you. 

VOICE: sweet, dreamy, soothing. Welsh accent if possible, not required.

  • “I’ve seen the horrors of this world. Things that no-one should have to suffer through.”

  • "Oh, you're awake. I'm Ryona. It's good to finally see you up and about."

  • "(sadly) Don't get me wrong. I love my planet, but the beliefs many of the Tilaari have there are backwards. We used to help those who needed aid, but more often than not travelers are being turned away and the Tilaari are closing themselves off from the rest of the world. We used to be better. I wanted to be better, that's why I left."

Damon always has a nasty reply at hand, usually uncalled for. Despite being purposefully obnoxious at times, he can be as charming as a prince, as he’s as good at smooth-talking as he is at being a smartass. No matter how many people he flirts with though, he never stays for breakfast. His smile might be dazzling, but don’t be fooled – he seems to be the coldest among the mercenaries, apparently never feeling remorse over what he must do to get the information he needs to fulfill his job. With his enhancement, he always knows what people truly desire, can always spot a lie… And it’s not always by asking that he gets what he wants.

VOICE: mysterious, sometimes even mean, mocking, sarcastic. Think Bad Boy vibes. Slight New York accent if possible, not required.

  • “Oh, please. You can’t break what’s already broken. Or do you think you’re special?“

  • "Good to know you're not as dumb as you look. And here I thought, after we found you smack dab in the middle of an attack on the royal palace, you were a total write-off. Makes me wonder if I was wrong . . . No. Something about your slack jaw and half witted stare tells me I most certainly wasn't."

  • "You're too much, you know that? If you were smart, you'd turn and run as far and fast as you can. Being with me will only bring you trouble."

Former Commander Calderon Lynch lives by a code. Honour, duty, and courage. Being dishonourably discharged from the ranks of Orsanna’s Guard left it’s mark on Calderon, turning him cold and spiteful. His latest title is Captain of the Andromeda Six, a mercenary ship with a reputation as deadly as the crew who pilots her. He won’t appreciate a newbie on his vessel, especially while he has a mission to fulfill. 

VOICE: rough, aggressive at times, commanding, sophisticated.

  • “Unless you can do something useful, stay out of my way.”

  • "Look, I don't have time to babysit a stowaway. Do us all a favor and keep off the bridge, will you? Maybe this whole 'memory-loss' ploy was a way to get on the ship."

  • "I'm sorry. It's not your fault. None of it is. You continue to surprise me, you know that?"

Teranium, a junker planet known for three things: illicit substances, robotics, and arenas. Growing up on the streets of it’s capital city, Nos Vega, was rough. Alone and desperate, Bash found himself pulled into the violence of the arenas.  The spectacle of arena fights drew in thousands, and if you were fierce enough to survive the brutality of the matches, one could make a decent living. Bash was good… but he knew he could be better. He walked a dangerous road, one that left both body and mind shattered, broken. Bodies can be fixed in a world where robotics and bionics are prevalent. But the mind is a difficult thing to put back together. As Engineer of the Andromeda Six, Bash is as handy with a screwdriver as he is with his fists. If he’s not doing repairs on the ship, you’ll find him building his beloved Mechs; the kind of robots that dominate the elite, high-tier arena matches on Teranium. 

VOICE: friendly, personable, cheerful, energetic. US West Coast accent if possible, not required.

  • “Don’t you trust me? If the bionics make you nervous, I could turn my head like… this.”

  • "I'm Bash, by the way. You got a name? (Nico's response: Nico) Pleasure. So, Nico, how the hell did you end up in the middle of a coup on Goldis?"

  • "I was desperate back then. Stupid too. Once the gang leaders found out what I was doing, they saw it as a problem and … dealt with it in the only way they knew how. If it wasn't for the angel who saved me, I'd be dead."

If there’s a gentleman in that Starship, it’s June. Always calm and collected, he’s a textbook example of kindness and good manners, but his mood is quick to sullen when the government is brought up, and the marks and scarring that cover his body are proof of the wrecked past he never talks about. Just because he’s dexterous with guns, doesn’t mean he condones violence, always trying to achieve a level-headed compromise during their missions. Beneath that cool exterior though, is a ticking time-bomb just waiting to be triggered… And it makes you wonder just what sort of monsters haunt his gentle soul.

VOICE: kind, gentle, humble, welcoming. Canadian accent if possible, not required

  • “Sometimes I get so angry I don’t know what to do. I can’t help but envy you, I wish I could forget my past too.”

  • "I'm June. This ship we're on is Andromeda Six. The finest cruiser around, and … my home. At least for the time being, anyways. What can I call you?"

  • "I'll watch your back while we're here, Nico. Try not to make the task too difficult for me."

Slight New York accent if possible!  A gang leader of the Crimson Dusk on the planet of Cursa -- sassy and has an attitude. She taught another main character, Damon, the ways of the streets on Cursa, and they are good friends.  

  • (teasingly with slight mocking) What's the matter, sweetheart? Cat got your tongue? You might wanna tone down the etiquette around these parts. We wouldn't want to draw any unwanted attention, would we? Anyway, I assume you're here for some reason other than my delightful company.

    (slightly arrogantly) Because my head is worth more than yours around here (intimidating) You should consider yourself lucky Reznor got his hands on you first. I don't appreciate K'Merii trash on my planet.

  • You do know he doesn't keep you around just for that, right? You don't need to come back here, ever. Take the C-D, the crew, leave this damned place behind and don't look back, Damon. You've got a good thing going, don't ruin it on purpose.

Slight New York accent if posssible! Zane is cunning and the leader of the Azure Dawn gang; he wants the influence of the K'Merii (a group supporting the coup of the royal family) gone from his home planet, Cursa. Cursa is known for being made up of slums.
