Project Details:
This project is a voice-acted comic dub of a pivotal scene from Amulet: Escape from Lucien (Book 6 of the Amulet series by Kazu Kibuishi). The scene captures the adrenaline-packed moment when Navin, Aly, Robert, and Trisha must navigate a harrowing escape, landing the Colossus after being shot down by the Elf King's forces.
This comic dub is non-commercial and made for fans of the Amulet series. It aims to bring this moment of the graphic novel to life through voice acting and dynamic editing, staying true to the tone and spirit of the original work.

Source Material: "Amulet: Escape from Lucien" (Book 6) by Kazu Kibuishi
Scope: One scene from the book (pages 34-53)
Length: On average, roles will have 9-word bubbles of dialogue. The final product is expected to run for about 3 minutes.
Contact: Make sure you have either an active email, or a Discord you can use to exchange audio recordings. Include either of those in your audition description/comments.
Recording Requirements:
High-quality audio recordings with minimal background noise and no mic clipping. There will be yelling!
Ability to convey a wide range of emotions to match the intensity of the scenes.
Timely delivery of recordings to meet project deadlines.
Phones are accepted! Just make sure that you record in an acoustically treated environment to prevent quality loss or background audio interruptions.
Payment: All roles will be paid at a flat rate as soon as your work is submitted and received. Payments will be made through either PayPal or Venmo. If you are unable to receive payment through either of the listed options, please contact me immediately (see contact information below). Payment varies depending on the role; refer to the roles below for ranges.
Additional Information: While this is an unpaid project, all participating voice actors will receive full credit in the video essay and will be promoted across our social media platforms. This is a great opportunity to showcase your talent to a broad audience and be part of a meaningful project that
highlights the drama and intensity of "Amulet".
