Josh is a voice actor and improv comedian who enjoys world-building with sound and supporting characters. He has voiced various characters and provides audio recording and voice direction for productions at The Overtime Theatre in San Antonio, TX.
Josh can be found most weekdays stuck in traffic practicing voices, accents, and baritone broadway singalongs.
Curriculum focuses on: building monologues, following narrative outlines, expanding upon worlds created, captivating an audience. Utilize long and short form improvisation, as well as creative writing approaches to storytelling.
Curriculum focused on space-object work, creating characters, narrative storytelling, gibberish, initiating (starting scenes), heightening (coming into a scene), and thinking faster. Work to apply play in ways to build spontaneous stories and fantastic scenes.
Curriculum focused on the basics of improvisation and scene work: team-building, trust, speed, status, active listening, and agreement. Emphasizes basic verbal and physical communication skills by exploring spontaneity, active listening, risk-taking, story-telling, and character development.
