Julie Roberts

Hello there! 

I'm Julie, or jminamistar, and I've lived in Southern California my entire life. Currently, I live in Japan, teaching English as an assistant language teacher. I am able to speak English fluently and I know Japanese as well. 

Throughout middle and high school, I always strived to be apart of theater - whether it be musical productions or plays. Some of the various productions I have been in include, Thoroughly Modern Millie, The 39 Steps, and Rumors.

I also performed in DTASC - a drama competition in Southern California - and placed in the top 10 for my monologues as Launce from Two Gentlemen of Verona and Joan of Arc from Henry VI. 

As I entered college, and my ability to perform on-stage wavered with work and school, I turned to streaming on Twitch. Various story games I have played have been comically voice acted. I also recently worked with other streamers in reading-along Shakespeare with a full cast, and to date, I read for Helena in Midsummer Night's Dream. 

I have yet to challenge myself and put myself out there fully in the world of voice acting, and so, I would love to explore this path and see where it takes me!
