Since childhood, I’ve been drawn to creative pursuits, joining choirs, bands, and theater groups. However, I quickly learned I could not sing, had no rhythm, and would be better off backstage.
While I'm happiest as an audience member, my heart for storytelling has remained. My outlook on life is rooted in optimism and belief in our ability to make impactful change. I measure success not by perfection but by the willingness to try. The act of trying is what matters most.
What keeps me going is the desire to amplify stories that often go unheard—stories of the Caribbean, Black women, and LGBTQ+ communities, to name a few. These voices deserve to be shared, and I want to be part of that movement.
My creative journey is like dancing offbeat, but at least I'm having fun!
