Hey There!
Thanks for checking out my profile! My name is Helen Narboneta and I am aspiring to become a Multi-Faceted Vocalist, be it singing, voice acting, or just making weird noises for Cartoons, Movies, Videos, Projects, you name it and I'd love to help!

I have been singing since I was very little around the ages of 5 or 6, whenever I first saw the Selina Quintanilla Movie as a child, that's when I really decided I wanted to become a Singer. I have been pursuing that dream ever since, despite the doubts and set backs, I am still going for that goal. I have always been inspired by artists like Selina Quintanilla, Prince, Freddy Mercury, Jack Black, and so many more musically, and I have been training myself to sound just as good as they do. I went to college for a little bit swapping majors mostly lol, from Music to Gen Ed, then to Digital Media Design, but regretted not sticking with learning more music. So now I have been teaching myself for the last 6-8 years by training my vocals and trying to learn different instruments to accompany it. I'm most proficient with my ukuleles while I sing, but love to let loose with singing over instrumental tracks or karaoke. Over the last couple of years I have gained some exposure over TikTok with livestreams of me Busking in my town as well as performed live at some Conventions such as MAGFest, MAGStock, and Confluence! I even found a community in Virtual Reality with many requests to perform in VRChat at Virtual night clubs like "Midnight Munchies Theater" and "Virtual Performing's Theater". There have even been some opportunities for me to perform live for big virtual events such as "Vket's Music Fest", and most recently "Cease & Desist Music Fest" (formally known as 'FurChella') lol.
I have gotten to meet so many amazing and supportive people who actually encouraged me to make this profile, so here I am! :P
When it comes to voice acting, my biggest inspiration was Robin Williams, Jim Carrey, Steve Blum, and so many more voices it's honestly hard to name them all! I would often find myself trying to re-enact their comedy sets or try to mimic their vocal methods to make some really interesting voices and characters. It would be amazing to be able to play roles like they did in order to make the world smile and laugh with just the sound of my voice. In the makeshift demo reel I've posted on my Youtube, there's a clip of me sounding kind of like Gilbert Gottfried while yelling at a "sus" child in Fortnight's version of Among Us.... I know that last sentence is a wild one to read but stick with me here; In the clip you can hear how much fun this child had hearing me play along with them in the game and I accomplished that just by using my voice and silly improv skills. It brought me so much joy and it still does whenever I see this clip come up on my page. <3

And that is my ultimate goal; I want to make people smile, laugh, cry, feel, and be real in this brief moment of existence. I want my voice to reach out and touch hearts, free souls, and invoke the minds of anyone who hears it.
