Hi! Thanks for checking out my profile!
My name is George, and while I've been singing and acting in theater, film, and music groups for as long as I can remember. I'm relatively new to the world of voice acting, and even newer to this platform.
I really fell in love with voice acting last year when I was cast as a troubled man doing his best to be a good father, Dylan Huang in a VR game called Changeling (https://www.changelingvr.com/#father-link). Changeling is downloadable and under continuing development at Rochester Institute of Technology's Magic Spell Studios. Since then I've been cast in a few narration roles such as voicing an ancient unnamed wizard in Ascent of Aela (https://youtu.be/m9CEC0Zo5NM) by RIT Film and Animation student Sean White, and other School of Film and Animation projects.
Most recently I was hired to play the roles of the clairvoyant and mysterious Shaman, and the brilliant (but somewhat delusional) Ghost Hunter in an arena combat party game in development at Magic Spell Studios called That Damn Goat (https://twitter.com/ThatDamnGoatVG?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor) which is slated for a 2023 release on the Nintendo Switch.
In my spare time, I've also been helping out a friend of mine by voicing Majima Goro in their Yakuza fan-dub projects on YouTube! (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0GKo_HskO0)
I'm a former member of the Brick City Singers, one of RIT's TTBB a capella groups. I'm featured on their album "Sing It!", as well as all three of their singles! All of these are available to stream on Spotify! (https://open.spotify.com/artist/2AL0BHKLyamlepY58FFlcN?si=u8qBzPuQTaaBV4UqTC530g)
I'm also an alum of Drexel University's TTBB a capella group, 8 to the Bar. While it is unfortunately not available on Spotify, I am featured on a couple of songs on their album "Raising the Bar".
Stories inspire us and help to shape who we are and I've always loved being a part of that! Hopefully we can tell some stories together!
I'm almost certainly happy to work within your budget! If you think I'm a good fit for your project we can discuss it further, but I don't foresee many issues here.
I'm interested in everything from video games and mods to audio dramas, to movie trailers! I am definitely not one to deny a project outright based on genre or format, so if you've got an interesting project going on let's talk!
As for why I joined and what I want to get out of it, I just love doing this stuff! I think storytelling in all forms is an integral part of what it is to be human. If that develops into a career at some point, I'd be ecstatic! If not, I have no issues doing something I love just because I love it.
