I have had a strong interest in voices from a very young age. I began by doing impressions of people that I personally knew, and moved on to characters that I loved the sound of. In my very early years I was involved in school productions where I often held a lead role to be performed at the end of each year. 

Recently, I have become very intrigued in the methods and tools that are used to create certain voice effects, such as Darth Vader’s iconic voice or the battle droids that can be found in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. I have been experimenting with the software Reaper to create effects similar to those that are widely known as well as my own unique effects. Every day, I am expanding my knowledge of audio engineering with these experimentations, and improve my ability to create characters.

With my recent purchase of the Blue Yeti microphone, I have been advancing my acting abilities, learning how to convince the audience of my performances that the character I am portraying is real. Not only this, but discovering techniques to improve the sound of my voice, with good practices to maintain it. I’ve also been developing my imitations of accents foreign to my own in order to increase the availability of work for me, which is often very dependent on the accent(s) you have or are able to use.
