@francogc-musicFranco Grimoldi Calo is an Argentine American composer and arranger for visual media based in Los Angeles. He graduated from the Berklee College of Music in 2024 after completing a double major in Film and Media Scoring & Games and Interactive Media Scoring. Currently, Franco works as a Scoring Intern at Bear McCreary's renowned studio, Sparks & Shadows.
Franco's musical style is very melodically driven, and he tends to write mostly for orchestral ensembles. He has worn different hats on audio teams for interactive media, with roles ranging from composer all the way to audio director. In addition to games, Franco has worked on short films from Loyola Marymount University and MassArt students.
During his studies at Berklee, he received the Outstanding Achievement in Screen Scoring award in the spring of 2024. Franco is also a recipient of the Wachter Fellowship, which greatly helped to support him in Los Angeles as he completed his first internship at Sparks & Shadows in the summer of 2023.
