This class is designed to give you insight into a workflow that will cover the initial foray into the world of audiobook voice acting, auditioning and booking gigs, handling customers, editing audio, and all the way to managing your own overall business model for your work.
This course is designed to assist you through technical production of individual voice over spots that showcase the brand and skills of a voice over artist.
This voice-specific audio engineering course takes you behind the scenes to lay out step-by-step instructions for producing a quality, great sounding spot. Follow along a seasoned producer as he live streams his editing process, and gives industry tips and tricks. By the end of this course, you will have gained knowledge and experience by producing your own voice over spot(s) under the direction of an instructor and TA, and with valuable peer feedback.
Directing & Self-Directing for Voice Actors
(Description subject to future changes) This course is designed to educate you about the voice over production process from the director’s perspective and to understand verbal direction given by the voice director during recording sessions. You’ll learn the typical production process for an animation project in the industry and duties a director must undergo during the process. You will also get to sit in the director’s chair and learn how to give your fellow voice actors proper feedback or critique on their live performances in voice over sessions during the recording process in order to help bring the characters to life and fulfill the needs of the client.

We want to introduce you to the creative side of digital art to give you the proper tools and knowledge as a digital artist so that you can completely create your own original character from scratch. You can also use these tools to create your own world for your character.
In this 6-week course, you’ll be learning how to draw your own original character from your imagination using the program Clip Studio Paint.
In this 6-week intensive, you will receive the core training of how to's of becoming a solo-preneur in the voice over industry and learn the tools, tricks and techniques of building a solid foundation as a DBA/LLC business in the first year.
The basics of marketing and branding, creating and sustaining mindpower and focus, as well as discovering hidden gems to help you avoid common pitfalls that new VO talent fall into. Focus on how to get the best bang for your buck in training, demo production and marketing your talents. You will walk away knowing the ABC's of becoming a voice-over professional and what you realistically need to invest/commit to become successful.
VA101 is designed to teach students about their vocal instrument and how to play it. Starting out from the basics and diving deep into understanding the different parts, how to control them, and how to train them to ensure its longevity.
