About ElleBeaDarling
Always happy to take notes to improve! I can do a range of high pitched cutesy to low, smoky sultry voices
I have some basic audio editing skills to make things sound decent and I'm self-teaching more all the time.
In terms of experience and comfort, I've sung at Lincoln Center and Walt Disney World. I have some chorus experience, so I'm pretty good at picking up a harmony. I've been in musical theatre productions of Seussical: the Musical, Bye Bye Birdie, Peter Pan, and Leonard Bernstein's Wonderful Town. I've performed numbers from Spamalot, Chicago, Spring Awakening, Dance of the Vampire, Hairspray, Wicked, Newsies, Footloose, A Chorus Line, Funny Girl, Les Miserables, and Miss Saigon. I'm most comfortable in a mezzo-soprano range.
I also have other acting experience from productions and performed readings readings of various works by Shakespeare, The Crucible, Our Town, The Vagina Monologues, and How I Learned to Drive. I directed productions of The Vagina Monologues and Old Saybrook.
I'm pretty comfortable with a microphone since I currently conduct recorded interviews with writers and artists as part of my day job; which is about to start a podcast. I pretty much talk about comics, cartoons, and nerd culture.
I have 3 ukuleles (soprano, concert, baritone) and a tambourine. I can do most accent work if I'm provided with a specific region and given time to study. I mainly can do female voices, but I am also able to do young male voices. I'm fairly good at creature sounds.
Fun Fact: I was in a shadowcast for Rocky Horror Picture Show for 4 years, which included choreographed dance breaks, one of which was a pin-up style "strip-tease" (really no nudity) tap number.
