Hi I'm CleverDingbat!

Years ago, I was in the darkest place of my entire life. I was stuck in an emotionally abusive and violent relationship that caused me to lose myself. I tried to leave this relationship so many times, but I felt trapped, alone, and worthless. It was like I was being erased and replaced by someone I didn't know and didn't want to be—until, one day, enough was enough, and I broke free.

It took everything I had to start my life anew and rediscover who I was. My whole life I was a geek, but in that relationship, I had become something other. I had been made to feel that I was trash, childish, and less than nothing for no other reason than how passionate I was about games, movies, books, and just being me. The day that relationship finally ended, I vowed that would I find myself again and no one would ever take that away from me again.

Now, I unapologetically share who I am with the world by creating content around pop culture that I have passion for and find wisdom within. I invite you all to join my community. Let’s geek out together about the things we love—be it books, films, series, or games. We all geek out here!
