Drew Crosby
Drew Crosby (he/him) is a young actor and filmmaker who graduated from Portland State University in 2023 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Film. In 2021, he graduated from Clackamas Community College with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Digital Media Communications and Video Production Technician Certification. As a co-founder of the independent film production studio Ghoul Capone Pictures, Drew is the creative force who directed, wrote, edited, and produced the group's first short Rocky is Dead which went on to feature as an official selection in two film festivals. A number of films Drew has featured in as an actor include Harper's World, The Door Dinger, and Fire Hill (for which his starring role won the Best Acting Performance Award at the Summer 2022 Oregon Screams Horror Film Festival), though he also regularly participates in the theater such as with PSU STAGE's productions of The Trail to Oregon as Everyone Else and Firebringer as Grunt. In addition to all of this, Drew founded the PSU Viking Film Festival which aims to annually provide a welcoming space for current, incoming, and alumni PSU students to showcase their projects, celebrate each other's hard work, and make new connections.
