About 3rd Strike!:

Juniper Tretten is a baseball player-turned-serial killer when she struck a foul ball with enough force to kill a man. After the hit and run, she fell in love with the thrill, and took some years to hone her skills in killing... the only problem is, the people she murders always end up being on some sort of hit list... completely by coincidence. It's after five years on the run, that the Diamond City Bulwark Archive (or the DCBA, for short) finally convinces her to work for them... with one golden rule.

She must, at all times, be under the watch of DCBA's second-best agent: Agent #002 Vivienne Ravén.

With the Agent's strict and broody manner, and the Vigilante's kooky wit and unrelenting need to stir up chaos, these two butt heads constantly, only tolerating each other enough to get the job done. But when it comes to life-threatening missions and the constant expectation to keep each other safe, these two might have something more to learn from one another, and find themselves unexpectedly warming up to the thought of having to stay by each other's side.

The question is... who's gonna be the first to admit it?
