For as long as I can remember, I've wanted to make movies and art that inspire people and express what I stand for in this world. I'm an amateur in every sense of the word, not having much beyond a high school diploma. But I don't want to let that stop me from doing what I love most, and if it means having to pull some extra weight, then so be it.

My top goal in life is to do for others what my favorite stories have done for me. For now, animation is the main way I'm going to try doing that. Unlike some parts of the entertainment industry, I have massive faith in animation's potential to tell stories and express peoples' humanity in ways that would be impossible without it. A lot of my biggest inspirations have stressed that it's a medium, not a genre, and that the big studios just don't treat it as such. That's why I have a fierce drive to help fight that in my own small way, by crafting my own dramatic stories that I hope can build upon what Disney or Dreamworks started all those years ago.

It's going to be a long, uphill battle to even begin getting near a goal like that, but at this point, I wouldn't have it any other way.
