About

Greetings, as my profile states, I go by "Nights Nocturnus" (extremely cool and epic, I know). Most of the time, I prefer to just be referred to by "Nights," as it's simple and easy to remember. I'm returning to voice acting after a hiatus and am eager to do some work. I love acting and furthermore voice acting. It allows me to step out of my comfort zone while also exploring an expressive form of creative output. I work well in groups and I appreciate all criticism levied toward me as it is vital to improving my output and honing my abilities. You won't find me complaining about genuine engagement and critique of my work, rather, I'm grateful for it.

Experience

I have experience in ADR (Dubbing) work and have acted in multiple projects (of which I am willing to demo for you) and have worked with multiple creators to drive home their vision for their series and characters. I'm someone who has talent in multiple areas (a bit of a renaissance man if you will), I have experience not just in VO work, but also Video Editing, Art, and some dabbling in Game Dev. I'm also a rather serious writer, and enjoy writing poetry as well as prose. My primary focus here on CCC is Voice Over work, however.

What makes you stand out from other members of CCC?

It's a great question. I bring to the table a genuine willingness to grow and learn as an actor, as well as a cooperative and disciplined spirit. I thrive on engaging with other actors and creative visionaries to develop and cultivate true story-telling through my work. I also put emphasis on decent sound quality: I feel that to be even considered for a project, I must be able to bring echo-free, high quality, gold standard audio to the scene. I am an amateur by definition, but I strive to do everything in my limited scope to bring professional level quality to my work.

If anything I've said thus far has caught your eye, feel free to contact me personally. I thank you for reading, and for considering me for your future endeavors. I hope we can be partners in your vision!

Thanks,

Nights
